Situated atop Mont Val Bélair, near the airport, this luxurious cottage offers a breathtaking view of the Laurentians and of the Jacques-Cartier valley. The brick fireplace, the woodwork, the cupboards, and the cherry wood stairs all create the warmest of atmospheres. Surrounded by a magnificent forest, this cozy nest and its 45 acres promises tranquility and privacy. Flower gardens and ponds around the house add a dash of colour to this enchanting place that is ideal for completing a work of literature, for giving yourself time to think or for simply relaxing and reconnecting with nature.

The interior offers everything you need and more: a very large interior swimming pool (with salted water and a non-chlorinated filtration system), a home cinema (with cable, DVD player and wide-screen TV), a completely furnished kitchen, a washer, a dryer, and a dishwasher. During the winter months, the heated floors maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the house. Bedding is provided.

We stayed at Eagle's Nest with six dear friends and there isn't a thing I could report was missing. The house is extremely well maintained, it has every amenity one could think of, the surrounding land/forest are lovely and the sunsets are brilliant. The week we stayed was extremely hot and humid, so some air conditioning would have been welcomed, but I think the weather was an anomaly (and fans were provided and many many windows opened),
The property is exactly as "advertised" on this site and the Owner is extremely responsive to questions and concerns - with immediate and complete responses.
I'd recommend Eagle's Nest without hesitation and I suspect it's as lovely in any season of the year.
We were delighted with this rental and would be very happy to return.

Beautiful, relaxing place

Our whole family (including the dog) spent a terrific week in the house. The place was spacious, beautifully decorated and well set up for cooking, living and relaxing. The grounds are well maintained, peaceful and private. We spent a lot of time on the huge deck with fabulous sunsets and quiet mornings enjoying the deer, birds and porcupines. The location was great, close to many natural and outdoor activities such as Montmorency waterfalls and only 25 minutes to Quebec City.

Michel was very helpful and attentive, providing us with assistance in every way. It is a great place to vacation.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille. La piscine et le jardin étaient idéaux pour les enfants, le lieu plein de charmes avec les animaux à proximité (truites, chevreuils, porc épic...). une très belle vue et un point de chute parfait pour rayonner dans les parcs québécois (valcartier, duschenay, stoneham...) qui offrent de nombreuses activités (rafting, accrobranches, etc.). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

The villa is perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained. The view is fantastic. We had a great time and I can certainly recommend this property to everybody.

My family and I were traveling to Quebec City for vacation and I happened to come across this lovely place. We had looked at numerous hotels and considering we had 5 adults in total we decided to look into other options. We found this to be the perfect fit for us and at the right price.

The views were breathtaking as was the actual cottage itself. It was wonderful to sit out on the deck and relax before starting our day out and to also capture spectacular sunsets in the evening.

It had all the necessary amenities. It is impeccably clean and well kept up.

It was very easy to book the reservation and the owner was very prompt in returning any responses to our numerous questions. It was our first experience using Home Away and it was a very stress-free one.

It is about 15-20 minutes away from Quebec City itself, but it was everything we were looking for in a vacation home. We were also going to other locations in the area and it was a reasonable distance to it all.

It is a perfect location for anyone who wants a little privacy, but wants easy enough access to many options.

I would most definitely recommend this location to a friend as well as hopefully returning there ourselves someday soon.
