Adequate and maybe over priced a little.

Hallways smell like old building. Stairs are steep. Unit is tiny, smaller and more expensive than vrbo unit in Paris, but works for a couple who are fit. one closet in bathroom not set up with shelves for needed storage. Main closet cluttered with some odd stuff. Neighborhood okay. Looks a little rough but it's on the upswing and we had no issues. Bed was small but we slept comfortably. Unit was clean. Building was quiet. Street was quiet at night. Showerhead needs to be replaced. Kitchen from Ikea okay for snacks, light meals. Not enough counter for real cooking. On our next trip to DC we might stay here again due to proximity to daughter's house, but we'll shop some to see if there's better value for the money.

Keep in mind we have several larger one bedroom apartments as well as first floor apartments.
Most of the times we have families with 1-2 children staying with us and there are extra blankets, linens as well as air mattress in the closet. It is a shame you did not call me during the stay -I would had been happy to put that stuff for you in the laundry room.
Bed is queen size, as advertised.
Pricewise, we are often 50% less expensive than hotels in the area and our apartments have kitchens and living rooms, free wifi and free laundry in the basement,...........
