Terrific!

I had business in NC all week and decided that by the end of the week I wanted something different than the run of the mill Marriott hotel. I found the craftsman cottage and signed on for two nights...then extended for an extra night just for fun!
The pictures of this place are great but they don't even do it justice. It's lovely, well appointed, and wonderfully located (close to Biltmore vilage and estate, highways and conveniences, yet you have an excellent feeling of privacy). The neighborhood - which I was unfamilair with - is chock full of exceptional architecture, in case you love that sort of thing like I do. Stunning arts and crafts homes channel Frank Lloyd Wright, while other little cottages are quintessential Asheville. If you've ever been to Asheville, you know what I mean. Eclectic, hilly, charming and right in the middle of things, I think that best describes the 'hood.
After a very trying few days of traveling for work, I arrived at the craftsman cottage late, but still needing to dial into a later conference call. I couldn't stop for red lights let alone peace of mind. But, when I stepped into this place, a bottle of wine and this beautiful place that doesn't skimp on detail, greeted myself and my dog Lisa. We settled in immediately. Romantic get away, home away from home, weekend retreat, whatever, try this place out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
