Great Stay at Craftsman Cottage

This was a very nice and lovely, really ideal place for us to stay on our Asheville getaway. We got the perfect combination of quiet and relaxation we needed in the cottage, with the dining and music we were looking for in downtown Asheville just a couple miles' drive away. The cottage is decorated beautifully - wood beams, deep colors, and carefully-selected books and artwork lend a vintage arts-and-crafts feel to a very up-to-date place with full amenities (bathrooms, kitchen, and internet, all in pristine condition). The king-sized bed was wonderfully comfortable; it had been a long time since I'd slept so well! There's a high back porch with a private-feeling tree-top view, where we woke up over coffee in the mornings. This was a great weekend spot for us to relax together as a couple, but would also be nice for a few girl friends to gather together for a vacation over wine and cooking. (The kitchen is fully-equipped - next time we stay here, I've got plans for using it!) The owners are very amenable, and both they and the resources they've organized on the bedroom shelves provide helpful information for what to do and see in Asheville and surrounding areas. I don't hesitate to give the Craftsman Cottage an "Excellent" recommendation!
