Cancellation Policy: :
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of required deposit amount. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival are considered non-refundable unless we are able to rebook the property for the dates you had reserved. If we rebook the property, we will refund a prorated share of the rental fee for each day we are able to fill, less a $50 cancellation fee.
There will be no refunds because of the malfunction of the contents of any of the units. We try to keep all unit contents in good working order and any problems will be addressed as quickly as possible.
Age limit.:
To ensure a truly relaxing, adult atmosphere we have a lower age limit of 18 years for anybody staying at or visiting Casa-Banda. Person responsible for a reservation must be 25 or older, and anybody age 18-25 must be in the company of somebody 25 or older.
No matter your age, you will love the pool which is the largest private pool in the area. The pool, garden and pool house with bathroom is very private behind vegetation, tall fences and high walls with locked gates.
Getting around.:
It takes 10-15 minute to walk to the beach or the mouth of Rio Nosara for swimming, fishing, and shell collecting. (Coming back takes a little bit longer, because it is up-hill part of the way.)
Also within walking distance: Rancho Suisso Restaurant, Pancho's Market and Taverna, La Luna Restaurant, LaGarta Lodge, Leroy's River Tours, and Beate's Horseback Riding Tours.
Car or ATV is necessary for trips to Nosara Village and beyond. If you decide not to rent a vehicle for your entire stay, there is taxi service for a reasonable price and now five car rental places where you can rent for a day or more.
Nearby Playa Guiones is one of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica. Surf Guiones during the day, but stay in peace and quiet on top of the hill above Playa Pelada, where the breezes will make it cool and comfortable.
Between July and December, the Olive Ridley sea turtles come to Playa Ostional, half hour away, to nest. Seeing this is a truly amazing experience
