The six tastefully appointed bedrooms are evenly distributed between upstairs and downstairs. They all have ensuite bathrooms, air-condition and ceiling fans. The master bedroom 'AWAFIA' suite has a king size bed, his and hers vanity, remote control flat screen television,a walk-in closet and its own private balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The 'PLANTATION' suite boasts a delicately decorated queen size four poster bed with a comfortable rocking chair tucked away in the corner. The other four bedroom suites, with their unique Caribbean features, each has two double beds which can be configured to a king size bed if desired. Enjoy dining in the main dining room which opens onto the pool deck and gardens, or in the more intimate dining area upstairs, or outdoors in the gazebo with its barbecue station ( a joy especially on a moonlit night ). The villa's daily staff ( chef , maid , laundress and pool attendant ) will be happy to cater to all your needs.

The historic town, Speightstown, is just 3 miles away, with all facilities available - shopping, banking, fine dining and much more. Not a beachfront villa!

The house is wonderful, but if you are looking for a beachfront villa this is not it! the staff and the pool were nice, but a car is definitely needed to enjoy the beaches of Barbados. We thoroughly enjoyed the catamaran ride, swimming with the turtles, the Animal Flower Cave (the view is breathtaking), the Wildlife Preserve and scuba diving.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers

Can't wait to return

We have stayed at the villa twice and the condo on the hill once. I can't wait to return this year. Missed last year but won't miss it again. The staff are so friendly, the weather is perfect, the villa is beautifully maintained and the food is prepared to everyone's particular tastes. Grocery shopping is an experience and easy, especially, the fresh fish from the locals. Hugh and Dorothy are excellent hosts and I look forward to seeing them in the future.
