Our beautiful CHALET LAKE HOME awaits your visit to the Brainerd Lakes Area. We are situated near Aitkin, MN on Sullivan Lake just over 2 hours North of the Twin Cities. This private 100 acre lake with NO Public Boat Access is up to 42' deep with 2 miles of natural shoreline great for fishing and boating. A swimming platform is anchored in 20' of water and a public, sandy swimming beach is a short drive away on Pelican Lake. The knotty-pine vaulted ceiling home has over 1,900 sq. ft. on three levels. It sleeps 12 in beds with 2 private bedrooms and a dormitory-style loft with the amenities of home--washer and dryer, bedding and towels, fully-stocked kitchen with cookware, glassware and dishes, a microwave and small appliances, plus 2 TV’s with Blue Ray players.

A 20' pontoon, a 14' fishing boat with trolling motor and 2 kayaks are yours to use at no additional charge.

What's Here & What to Pack: Our Lake Home Retreat is unlike any other….on 22 PRIVATE acres in wooded silence for your family vacation, plus a private lake with deep water and all natural shoreline--great for fishing pan fish, bass, northern pike and an occasional walleye. A 20' pontoon with Mercury motor, a 14' Alumacraft fishing boat with electric trolling motor, and 2 kayaks are yours to use at no additional charge.

THINGS TO PACK: Tackle box, fishing poles and bait buckets. Live bait is available for purchase in Aitkin, MN. (Coast Guard approved life vests in all sizes are provided at the lake home.) Blow-up water rafts or inner tubes. Charcoal and lighter fluid for the Weber Grill; Groceries, Cooking Condiments, Paper plates/napkins, aluminum foil and baggies; Beach Towels, Sun Screen and Bug Spray; DVD's and portable electronic games.

Privacy, Relaxation and Seclusion: Curl up with your favorite book, play board games or cards, create food masterpieces on the Weber grill, but remember to bring charcoal and lighter fluid! Yard games include bocce ball, ladder golf, horseshoes and a small swimming pool for toddlers. Board games and 2 Blue Ray players are for rainy days. Lakeside campfires may become your family's nightly tradition. Don't forget Marshmallows, Chocolate Bars and Graham Crackers for S'mores.

Brainerd Lakes Area: The Brainerd Lakes Area has much to offer vacationers....golf courses, antiquing, amusement parks, a national speedway, casino, and lake after lake after lake to launch your boat and enjoy the waters of Northern MN.

A beautiful CHALET LAKE HOME awaits your visit to the Brainerd Lakes Area--Situated near Aitkin, MN on private Sullivan Lake just over 2 hours North of the Twin Cities. The ski chalet-style home has 1,900 sq.ft. on three levels, a 22' knotty pine vaulted ceiling with massive windows overlooking the large deck and lake. Two bedrooms and a spacious sleeping loft for 12 (maximum guests) plus 2 bathrooms and plenty of living space. Fully stocked kitchen with bedding and towels included.

Other Activities: Pontoon for Fishing or a leisure cruise, 2 Kayaks, Swimming Platform, Lakeside firepit, Horseshoes, Kiddie pool, Shopping, Golf Courses & Casino nearby.

Awesome is what our granddaughter said about her 1st visit.We've felt that way since we found your oasis in the Woods years ago.Anxoious for our family gathering in early June this year.Having fished the lake we know where to find the 12" crappie,& fat sunny's.Trolling fast is how you catch the Lunker Pike...Thanks for the Tip David!
The toddlers enjoyed the pools,pontoon,fishing and the "Dance of the Loons".Grillin' & Chillin' for the young adults,while grandma & I enjoyed the sunrising/setting on the lake & peacefull walks in the woods.
Looking forward to our week in June with hopes of a fall color retun trip as well.Thanks again for the past memories and future family fun shared on the water,& in the woods next time.Peace

First Class All the Way!

We absolutely loved our week's stay here. The cabin, lake, and amenities were excellent across the board. The cabin itself was very spacious and clean and comfortable. The kids loved the lake, the dock and the pontoon boat. Fishing was excellent as we caught all the crappies and sunfish we wanted, with an occasional bass and northern, too.

We stayed here last July and had such a good time in this very private place. We loved the pontoon, the deck and the great swimming and fishing. WIth all the big sunnies and crappies we caught we had excellent fish frys. The house is decked out with every imaginable amenity with no need to over pack. It was so nice to wake up to a sun filled loft! Great place...

One of a Kind!

This is an awesome 3 level cabin! Our kids loved the loft area, and we loved the seclusion of the basement. One of our favorite family memories is the walking down to the lake and cruising on the pontoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck that overlooked the lake, we grilled every meal and ate outside. This is our third year staying there. We missed out on the fourth of July week, as it was already booked :(. A gem only a 2 hours from where we live in the cities.

Relaxing and fun stay!

I'm now a regular visitor to this property, my wife and I plan to come back twice next year! Great pan and bass fishing, have caught northern pike as well, secluded, peaceful lake property, yet only a couple hours from the Twin Cities. Pontoon is fun for families or fishing. Wooded lot is very private and well maintained. The open spaces are great, we spend much of our time relaxing on the deck grilling, or lounging. At night the fire pit is great for making s'mores. Wooded area is great for nature hikes, have seen several deer grazing in the open areas nearby. Wish I could stay longer, but will be back next year!!
