We stayed at the Chocolate Moose and what a wonderful experience! The cabin is so well equiped with anything that anyone might want for a great vacation. It has 2 different type grills, charcoal and gas and even a George Forman type in the kitchen, more dishes, pots and pans than I have at home for cooking. There was a crock pot that we used a couple of days while we were out sightseeing, then our meal was ready when we got back.
We relaxed in the hot tub, used the porch rockers and porch swing everyday, played pool every night. There is a TV and DVD player in every room, but we really loved the wide screen and all the many, many movies that were there.
The location of the cabin was great, only about 10 min to Pigeon Forge or to Gatlinburg. The cabin is so quaint and cozy and home like, very comfortable. We just simply did not want to leave and go home. It is on a quiet dead-end road with a couple more cabins, but it has so much privacy. I felt better knowing I wasn't totally alone in the woods and really enjoyed the peacefulness and privacy of this cabin.
Geri has definitely outdone herself decorating and making sure that it is a fun and cozy place to visit and making us feel welcome. She was always very accessable and very helpful when we needed anything, not that we needed much.
We will never stay at another cabin and will always visit the Chocolate Moose every time we go to the mountains. Just simply the best place ever to rest and relax!
We loved the gate on the porch, sure made it easy for us to keep Butch on the porch.
