When you book with us and return the signed rental agreement, all we ask for is your credit card number to hold the reservation. No deposit is ever billed. Once your stay is complete and the provisions of the rental agreement have been met, there is no other transaction required. If for some reason, some of the provisions are not met, the maximum that would be charged to your card to cover the cost is $200 (the standard deposit amount required).
If you don't like to use credit cards for your rental transactions, just put a $200 check in the mail along with your signed rental agreement. I will hold the check until your stay is complete. Again, if the provisions of the agreement have been met, I will either return or destroy your check, whichever you prefer.

Located in Laurel Ridge, a cluster community of 44 homes, 'Great Escape' is a luxurious mountain home surrounded by nature at its finest with beautiful mountain views. As well, within walking distance to pool, lake with beach and paddle boats, water slide, restaurant, general store, park, church, tennis courts and fitness center with indoor pool and a quick drive to the new Lake Sconti Clubhouse, Golf and the Jeep trail.
'Great Escape' is cozy and comfortable. It consists of three levels. The main level has a big open kitchen, breakfast area and den, which makes for easy entertaining. The full, gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, tumbled marble backsplash, and black appliances. Our farm-style kitchen table seats eight people and is perfect for game night or family style dinners. The cozy den with a gorgeous stacked stone fireplace is perfect for reading, watching TV, just hanging out or listening to music. There is also a screened porch off the kitchen with a teak table (seats 6). The screened porch leads out onto the enormous main level deck, which has a complete patio set and new gas grill.
Also located on the main floor is the master suite. The master bedroom has a queen size sleigh bed, two nightstands, a dresser and an armoire, which houses a TV and DVD player. The master bath is enormous with his/her sinks, granite counter tops and an oversized shower and separate jetted tub.
Downstairs on the terrace level is a gigantic recreational room with a 55' HDTV, a pool table and dart board. The entertainment center has surround sound, a DVD/CD player, and VCR. There are 3 oversized sofas, which seat 9 comfortably. The terrace level deck has a bistro set and various benches for hanging out. Also on the terrace level is a bedroom with a queen sleigh bed, two nightstands, an armoire and a large bathroom. In addition, there is a full size laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
On the top floor of the house, there is a cozy loft area with DSL connection and desk (as well as wifi). There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom. One of the rooms has a queen bed and the other room has a double bed on one side of the room, bunk beds on the other, and a flat panel TV. As well, there is an adorable mini children's playroom / fort with a twin bed in it.
