Log cabin completely renovated. Gazebo, charcoal grill, pond and creek, DVD player, VHS player, upstairs TV room, full size crib in upstairs bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer. Baby grand piano and lots of original artwork and American primitive antiques.

Our property offers you the quiet and privacy of being in the country with cool mountain breezes and the gentle melody of the creek in the front yard. We are centrally located ten minutes from shopping in Blowing Rock as well as Boone. You can ski, hike, river raft, see a play, attend a concert at the university, visit one of the many galleries or take your children to Tweetsie Railroad Amusement park. This is a resort area with plenty to do. Then again, why not do nothing in front of the fireplace or on the front porch in the porch swing?

Incredible mountain getaway, perfect in every way

We have had the pleasure of staying at The Friendship house probably 10 times. The house itself is perfectly secluded with a small spring running through the front yard. We try to spend the majority of our time here on the large, covered front porch. The main floor has a great open floor plan with a beautiful stone fireplace. The master bedroom is spacious with a private door out to the deck. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are spacious with the added bonus of cathedral ceilings. The pictures don't do this home justice. As if the home itself weren't enough, it's location is superb....an easy 5-10 drive to either Boone or Blowing Rock. Whether your in the area for a few days or an entire week, this home will make your stay all the more enjoyable. It's everything that a log cabin in the mountains should be. I highly recommend The Friendship House.
