New Orleans Vacation Rental cottage

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for four fabulous days! The rooms were nicely decorated, neat and clean and had all the ammenities you could ask for. The location was perfect for us since we were attending our daughter's graduation from Tulane. The streetcar is a quick walk from the cottage, and the evenings were spent sipping wine on the lovely patio. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but just a streetcar away! I would recommend this fabulous cottage to anyone looking for a cozy getaway! Practically perfect in every way! Who Dat!

Kristina and Cesar were fantastic to work with - everything they said about the cottage accommodations and the neighborhood were 100% correct!!

I stayed for 11 days over Jazz Fest and it was perfect - close to amazing garden district restaurants (Maple Street Cafe, Mat and Naddie's, Boucherie, Brightsen's) and music venues (The Maple Leaf, Carrollton Station, a short drive to Tipitinas as well) It was perfect having a car with an easy place to park, though you could enjoy all the neighborhood has to offer without a car. We did leave the car to take the trolley into the quarter a few times. It's such a beautiful ride down St Charles.

We had breakfast each morning in the courtyard at the table under the umbrella and either made our own coffee or walked around the corner to Maple Street to PJ's or Starbucks to grab some.

The cottage is very nicely decorated and furnished - felt brand new.
We slept 3 people comfortably - two on the futon and one in the bedroom.
It was perfect for 3 and would be even better for a couple as you'd get to enjoy the futon as the couch and have both a living room and bedroom.

It was my goal to feel like a local this trip and with the cottage my mission was fully accomplished. In fact I've already booked to stay for Jazz Fest next year!! I hope to get back to New Orleans before Jazz Fest next year and if I do I will definitely rent the cottage for that trip. It's my new home in New Orleans, I love it. You will too.

The house was beautifully renovated. Very close to the St. Charles/Hillary St. Street car stop, 3-4 blocks, which was very convenient. Only 4-5 blocks to Tulane which was perfect for me as I needed to conduct research at their library. It would be a perfect location for parents looking at Tulane, Loyola or Univ of New Orleans with their recent senior grads. It was very close to restaurants, shops, bookstores, and anything one could want/need.
