From Carefree, south, east, north :
All directions, so much to see. Cave Creek, western flavor, variety of restaurants and interesting things whether shopping around or site-seeing. Not very far down the road, there's Scottsdale with great restaurants of all variety, fashion mall, stores, shops and great night-life. If you want to venture further, there's Flagstaff, winter, skiing, a little further Is scenic Sedona, spectacular scenery, well worth taking the time to go and see. If you want to grab a motel for a night, you could drive up to the Grand Canyon. If your stay at your villa is long enough, you might want to consider, for it is a good drive. Go south and see a 'creator' from a meteor and Tucson where western movies were made in 'Old Tucson', also if you plan a head ' cause you may want to spend the night.
