Cape Coral’s terrific year-round weather and average annual temperature of 74.4 degrees make it an ideal location for those who enjoy the game of golf.
Although people are not permitted to hit golf balls in the majority of the City’s parks, Coral Oaks Golf Course is a beautiful, Arthur Hills designed championship course which is owned and operated by the Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Department.
Coral Oaks Golf Course is conveniently located in the NW section of Cape Coral just off of Burnt Store Rd. at 1800 NW 28th Ave, and features an 18-hole, Par 72 course which was built in the midst of a century-old oak hammock and other rich natural surroundings. Large TifEagle greens, combined with contoured fairways, 8 lakes, and 37 bunkers make the course challenging, yet entertaining for golfers of all skill levels.
Coral Oaks Golf Course also includes a large driving range and short game practice area, well-stocked pro-shop, and Knickers Pub, which offers a diverse menu and full bar that is open to the public daily. In addition, golf instruction in the form of clinics, private lessons, and golf schools are available at Coral Oaks and taught by PGA professionals with over 50 years of combined experience.
Every October, Coral Oaks hosts the Cape Coral City Championship, the premier amateur golfing event in the area, which boasts 5 Men’s Flights and 2 Ladies’ Flights in a full field of competitors. The course also hosts Men’s and Women’s Golf Association
