The condo boasts a comfortable open floor plan with two decks to enjoy the cool mountain air, or snuggle up next to the wood-burning fireplace on the sectional leather sofa with plenty of firewood stocked right at your front door. The condo features a great kitchen stocked with plenty of dishes, pot, pans etc. to prepare meals and a large open dining area and a big laundry/mud room with full size washer/dryer and plenty of room to store ski equipment and jackets.
Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom plus an additional half-bath on the main level. The queen bedroom features a balcony and cable t.v. The king bedroom is huge with a sitting area and a new futon for 2 more guests. Washer/Dryer and 3 cable TVs to make the most of a relaxing weekend. Wow, this is the mountain life; this is Red River!

Our review is pretty much the same as the one just previous. When we arrived, we found the condo dirty, floors, stove, dishes, etc. Stove had grease all over, dishes were in the cabinets w/food on them. Furniture is OLD and FILTHY in the living room, couch is all saggy and broken down, recliner is a beige color but is filthy on the arms, seat, and back. TV is OLD. Dust every where, new tile floors but had construction dirt everywhere. Throw rugs not clean. Broken stair rail, stairs are steep w/ broken rail???? Toilet paper holder broken off wall and thrown on floor. Windows stuck and don't work, no screens, no AC. Not able to open windows so smells musty & dirty. I asked the owner/manager for a partial refund because we had booked for 4 days but left early because the mattress on the queen bed was so old and saggy it was not functional as were the "futon" bed and the hideabed in the living room. It was an entire JOKE. The manager/owner lied to me and said he would refund part of my $$ and surely not charge a cleaning fee. That was June and this is Sept and still no refund. I have called several times regarding the refund and either get the run around or they don't return the phone call. Not reputable, would NOT recommend at all.!!!! please honor your word and refund one nite's rent and my cleaning deposit and taxes on that amount.
The property looked liked the pictures. We were told they were making it ready when we arrived and they called when it was ready. However, the condo was not well cleaned nor maintained, examples, cobwebs on ceilings in some areas and cob webs around the mini blinds, bathroom floor was dirty with a yellow buildup by bathtub that turned liquid when water splashed on it from shower. The carpets were stained (or just dirty) with several spots, the throw rug in kitchen was dirty, dishes in cupboard were put away dirty, coffee cups had dried coffee, plates had dried debris as if the dishwasher didn't work correctly, the silverware drawer had a peeling of what appeared to be potato or maybe apple inside. The silverware container was dirty with debris under the items. Cooking utensils on the counter were coated in a visible layer of dust. I placed all kitchen items in the dishwasher and sanitized before using. Counter top is missing part of its edging on a section, cabinet drawer front is broken. No air conditioning, not a problem except the window in one bedroom was broken and would not open. The other bedroom has small upper windows but no screens. Other windows are also missing screens in the unit. We found fans to stir the air upstairs but it was stuffy with no fresh air coming in. The Internet service did not work at all, we were told on check-in it was out. Parking was an issue at times. We were not given a walk through, were not given instructions on where to leave our keys for early morning checkout and the phone number provided for after hours had a full mailbox and a message could not be left. I did receive a call back when the missed call was viewed. We enjoyed our week, cooked meals and enjoyed the sights. If you want a cheaper place to stay ( we paid approx $137 per night for 5 people) and don't care about details, this is for you. At best it was average. I think it could be really great if cleaned properly & maintained.
To cut to the chase...we had a marvelous stay at this property, and we can highly recommend it for a relaxing and invigorating get-a-way! It was everything we expected it to be given the pictures and information that was presented. The listing photos of the accommodations & amenities were spot on, and actually looked even better in real life. The property was wonderfully maintained and the hot tub was a true treat from where to watch snowflakes fall.
We attended a curling championship in nearby Cranbrook & the owner helped us to feel secure in making our plans to reside in Kimberly, while attending the attractions in the area. The town of Kimberly is a friends & fun place to kick around day after day, after day.
This was a great place to stay. I spent 3 weeks here and felt totally comfortable. I like to cook for myself and found the kitchen to be completely stocked with everything I needed from stove top cooking to homemade cookies. I couldn't have been happier with this nice, quite little Condo.
