Donna's Retreat on Rockaway Ct is a single family two-level, 3 bed/2 bath private home on the Bayside of North Mission Beach. It has an open California style kitchen (very well equipped!), dining & living space with bright cheery & beach style décor, Cable Internet with WiFi, cable television, DVD/VCR and stereo. The master bedroom is located on the ground level with a full bathroom with bath tub/shower. It has a queen size bed & cable television. Upstairs is another bedroom with a queen size bed and a third bedroom with two twin beds. The bathroom between these two bedrooms is full-sized with tub/shower. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room if extra sleeping room is required. It has a double garage. The washer and dryer takes up some of the parking space but it will fit 2 small cars or 1 larger SUV. Please call us for measurements if you have any questions about the size. Great outdoor patio fully fenced and nicely landscaped for privacy. It has gas BBQ grill and table and chairs for 4 plus 2 adult beach cruiser bicycles, boogie boards and beach chair

Mission Bay and Mission Beach San Diego: Mission Bay is located just 40 steps from the house. There is a white sandy beach and a nice boardwalk for walking, biking and rollerblading. The Bay-side tends to be less active than the ocean-side of Mission Beach and you can walk over to the Pacific Ocean in just 3 to 4 minutes. There are may wonderful restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner within walking distance! The Beach house will accommodate up to eight guests and is available year round as a vacation rental.

Within 5-20 minutes is Sea World, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town with it's excellent Mexican Restaurants, Belmont Park & it's authentic 1920's wooden roller-coaster, Sea Port Village, downtown San Diego's Gas Lamp Quarter, the Convention Center & Petco Park. 30 min to Lego Land, 40 min to The Wild Animal Park and gambling casinos, 75 minutes to the quaint historic gold rush town of Julian, in the mountains, & another 30 minutes beyond that is beautiful Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Even Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm can be done as a day trip. Mexico is only 25 minutes away. Amazing Mission Beach Rental!

This house was perfect and exactly as advertised - plenty of space for a 6 person bachelorette weekend event. The bikes, chairs, BBQ, yard, etc. all came in handy. We even had to delay a day due to some flights being canceled and they made it easy and smooth. We loved it! Only down sides: pull out couch was uncomfortable and the garage really is only big enough for 1 car. Would recommend and stay here again for sure!!

We had a wonderful family reunion at 810 Rockaway. The central location between the bay and ocean was a real plus as family member were able to enjoy it all. The resturants and shopping in the area were also alot of fun. The house has it all and the beds were extremly comfortable. No dishwasher wasn't a problem, but the flooring could be upgraded soon and it would have be nice to have exhaust fans in the bathroom. The large patio was always ocupied as the weather was so nice. A terrific place to stay and will recommend it.

Great place ! the renters thought of everything ! surprised no dishwasher in the check in notes it gives instructions for it....but overall excellent place to stay !!!!!!!!!!
Owner's Response: We love to hear that you enjoyed our property and thought that is was well stocked. We do our best to make sure our properties are true home away from homes.
I had recently edited our directions and copied the check-out instructions from another of our properties... one that has a dishwasher. The dishwasher reference is now removed from our instructions - thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Great vacation and house had everything you need. No air conditioning which is fine if not too hot. A little road noise when windows open. We were surprised no dishwasher. The location is terrific. So much to walk to. Bikes were great. We had a wonderful visit and highly recommend.

This lovely three bedroom two-story home is the newest addition to Nancy's Vacation Rentals and I am very proud to have it in my group of affordable Mission Beach and Bay vacation rentals.
