Bring the whole family and your closest friends along on your vacation in Sonoma County's beautiful Wine Country. There's plenty of room for everyone, even the family dog!

The New Grape Escape is a spacious 2,400 square foot home with a 540 square foot furnished and covered back deck, where sunset views are incredible. The house has 3 bedrooms & 3 baths, plus a bonus room. It is beautifully furnished with Italian Villa flare. The home is tucked into a quiet 12 acre estate with its own bio-dynamic vineyard, and views of the vineyard from every room. From the back deck you can also gaze upon our elegant rose garden, as well as the bucolic Dry Creek hillside.

All rooms have plush pillow-top mattresses, with allergy-free down comforters and high-quality bed linens. The New Grape Escape has three full bathrooms stocked with personal care products and plenty of fresh towels.

The Chef's kitchen is equipped with a Viking 6 burner stovetop and two oversized GE ovens, with convection and conventional baking. There is also a full size microwave/halogen oven when you are in a hurry for something to eat! The well-stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meal. For your outdoor cooking we have provided a large gas Bar-BQ. Gourmet food stores as well as the local farmer's market are available for all of your favorite, fresh ingredients.

The New Grape Escape is the perfect place to unwind after a full day of winetasting and sightseeing. Come home and relax on the outdoor covered deck or take a relaxing soak in the spa. On cool nights you can put your feet up in front of the woodstove or just kick back and watch your favorite shows on the 42' plasma TV screen. The New Grape Escape is equipped with high speed internet, and premium cable TV, as well as central air conditioning and heating.

The Grape Escape is just down a private country lane about five minutes outside of Historic Downtown Healdsburg and within minutes of three of the Wine Countrys most sought after valleys,the Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, and the Russian River Valley.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Myself and seven of my friends stayed at the Grape Escape this past weekend while attending a wedding in Healdsburg. Let's just say it was tough to make it to the ceremony the house and property were so nice! The house slept 8 very comfortably. Everything was as described and very clean and pristine. Perhaps what we enjoyed most was the large porch with beautiful view of gardens, vines, and typical Sonoma County landscape. The grill worked great, hot tub was warm and clean, all appliances and amenities worked as described. Included were such things as iPod speakers, board games, and all the cookware you could need. The house was quite private located down a long road, but within minutes of many popular vineyards via car. On the morning of our last day, Virgil, the owner stopped in to check on us to make sure everything was going well. The communication between us and the owners throughout the whole rental process was very easy, and they were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

This house, as in all the reviews, is impeccable. Perfect size for our group of six women. Great kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was very well laid out and easily accessible. We had an amazing time and really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely rent this spot again!! Thank you Carol and VIrgil.

Birthday Celebration Weekend

Grape Escape is the perfect name for this lovely vacation home! Not only is the home tucked away down a narrow country lane, but it sits in the midst of the vineyards with beautiful views on all sides! Yet, we were just a few minutes from the square at Healdsburg and had easy access to anything we wanted to see or do! The home was a perfect venue for six friends ......enough space to spread out and a living room and kitchen that invited us to simply relax and enjoy. We loved the kitchen and cooked most of our meals in the home.......it is very well equipped and as others have stated, check out the supplies before you purchase too much.

Grape Escape feels like a home not just a vacation rental. The owners checked on us after arrival, left us a lovely bouquet of flowers and even had fresh fruit in a bowl on the kitchen table! None of us wanted to leave when our visit came to an end!

Great Vacation Home!

My family spent Christmas at the Grape Escape and had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful, clean and just as represented in the pictures. The kitchen was well-stocked (if you can't find something, keep looking). The house was extremely family and pet friendly. My two children loved exploring the house, the jacuzzi and taking long walks. Our dogs enjoyed the yard and the surrounding area. Downtown Healdsburg is close enough that it is convenient, but the house feels secluded. We picked up take-out several times from local restaurants. The local grocery store had an amazing selection of food and produce.

We highly recommend the house and we'll be back. Carol and Virgil are great hosts.

Carol and Virgil took great care in presenting a beautiful, warm, friendly and clean environment and we can not thank them enough for thier hospitality. Virgil invited us to participate in helping with pressing the grapes into wine and then treated us to a barrel tasting. We learned a lot, and enjoyed the time with the wine club members. The home itself is layed out to accomodate several people and includes a large back porch that feels like an extension of the home. The views of the surrounding vineyards was stunning. Yup, we'll be back!
