Guestbook comments from the owner
The Bayview Beauty at 8 Mason Ave was just a short walk to the beach and a short
golf cart ride to the fishing pier and in-town shopping and restaurants.
The home itself is well supplied with everyday cooking and meal needs. The beds
are very comfortable with plenty of linens and pillows available. The
convenience of the washer and dryer can't be overstated, you don't need a lot of
beach towels and swimsuits when you can give them a quick wash before the next
day at the beach.
The home is very comfortable with spacious family and dining rooms, and plenty
of comfortable seats on the porch for evening lounging.
We are planning to visit again.

The town is charming ...older homes, sidewalks, a 'Main Street' in walking distance, and friendly people. It is quiet, with that small town feel. 'A step back into time'.The area is full of history, activities and exploration. Its close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean provide different water experiences. There is a new, upscale marina with shops and a golf village in town. Cape Charles is a day's drive (just a little over 9 hrs.) from our home in Ohio. The Eastern shore is a beautiful area, some have described it similar to the Outer banks and Long Island as it was thiry years ago. The pace is calm and easy here. We have met many people who have been drawn to the area for the same reasons, with whom we have become friends, and look forward to seeing again.
