Perfect for couples, families with children, church small groups, or personal solitary retreats, the home has a peaceful energy that makes it the perfect site for weekend getaway or long-term rental. The house is located conveniently within the town of Marathon, and within walking distance of all restaurants, the local grocery store and the gorgeous Gage Gardens Yet, its secluded location on the outskirts of town facing Iron Mountain gives it a more rural getaway feel. Our home is completely renovated, with new central heat and air, plus new energy-efficient windows and a screen door to enjoy the cool breezes.

Located just a stone's throw from the Historic Gage Hotel, our cozy West Texas cottage is just a block to the Desert Moon Spa, yet offers incomparable solitude and Marathon's best mountain views. Annual events include WestFest, the M2M marathon, and Fiesta Del Noche Buena.

Because of additions through the years, there is one step into the home's front door, and two steps from the living room into the bedroom or dining room.
