Quiet country lake (Eligo Lake), local cross country skiing (Craftsbury Outdoor Center), snowmobiling, and with in 45 min of 4 major down hill ski areas (Stowe, Jay Peak, Burke Mountain, Smugglers Notch). On the shores of Eligo Lake there is Swimming, Fishing, Kayaking. Canoeing, and Boating. State Boat Launch within one mile of cabin. Within one hour to the Canadian Border, 2 hours to Montreal. One hour to the New Hampshire White Mountains, Three and one half hours to Boston, and Two Hours to Burlington VT.
