The Mougle 'Cabin' is the perfect retreat for a single person, a couple or a small family up to 4. the Mougle House is a large 'Loft' cabin over the garage with approximately 700 square feet of living space for you to call home.

Set up with 'FUN' in mind. Downstairs is a Game Room, with a pool table and Bar that converts to a Black Jack, Poker, Roulette or Craps table. Guest of the Cabin and House also share the Hot Tub and BBQ deck.

The Cabin was recently remodeled and refurnished with beautiful high-end Mountain furnishings and has a 4-poster queen bed and trundle bed to sleep up to a family of 4. Other features are hardwood hickory floors, high beam pine ceilings, wet bar, gas fireplace, downstairs is a 'compact kitchen' with everything you need to cook your meals and a full bathroom. The Mougle Cabin is located at a private Residence in the Tahoe Donner Neighborhood. The 'Cabin' is a separate cabin from the main house, located over the Owner's garage. The location of the street of 'Mougle Lane' is on the bottom portion of the Tahoe Donner Association neighborhood. Roads are eventually plowed, however be prepared to always carry snowchains or have 4-wheel drive with snow tires during peak winter months.

Great place in Tahoe- will return!

We had a wonderful time at the Mougle Lodge. Some of the bigger things that we enjoyed were:
*The place was very clean and well maintained
*Nice layout- perfect amount of space for us (family of 3)
*Great access to Tahoe Donner facilities and Truckee
*All the amenities of home with the close proximity to lots of activities
*Very reasonable price (as compared to hotels and other rentals)
*Owner was friendly and responsive to questions about property

I would recommend this property to any couple looking for a quiet getaway in Tahoe!

Charming Cabin

We spent a wonderful, wintery 3 days here amongst lots of snow-it was beautiful! The accommodations are great-clean & comfortable with nice cabin decor. The woodwork throughout the cabin is gorgeous! We were able to ski and board all day, and play pool and watch TV at night. The efficient kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, or heat-up meals that are brought along. We brought our yellow Lab along for his first visit to the snow, and he loved the whole adventure. We will be back. Thank you for sharing your Tahoe Gem!

Very cozy!

This unit is very cozy and comfortable! My husband and I and our 2 small dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views of the trees through the high windows made it feel like we were in a tree house. Very nice!

Peaceful Retreat

I have to admit, first of all, that I thought Truckee was pretty much a TRUCK STOP.
Now, I know differently!! It is the coolest little town. The location is awesome for visiting any part of Lake Tahoe, which is what we did. We went to one side of the lake one day, the other side the next day!

The cabin was wonderful! It is located in a very nice residential area. It was very quiet and peaceful. Trudy has it decorated very nicely. The sofa and recliner are sooo comfy! A lot of thought has gone into making it inclusive. Fill the fridge after a stop at Safeway, and there's no need to HAVE to eat out.

We loved it! We want to bring our two kids with us the next time. It would still be very comfortable with them there...plenty of room.

The only suggestion I have is that it needs a full size door mirror. Everything else was perfect!!!!
