We all know that renting a place sight unseen requires a bit of an adventurous spirit. Rancho Pura Vida is described exactly as it is and the property around the villas is even more lovely than described. The villas are new, well appointed and extremely clean. Ginger was very helpful with the details of the rental. Marilyn, the matriarch of the family, is on sight, friendly, and interesting to talk to. This property is located in a quiet area but close to some of the Central Valley attractions: coffee plantations, Poas Volcano, and La Paz Waterfall Gardens, all worthwhile visits. Walking on the property and nearby is peaceful and interesting and there are numerous restaurants in the area. The Central Valley is often overlooked by tourists but shouldn't be. And Rancho Pura Vida is a great place to stay.
