This cottage has been fully remodeled inside and out, with Mexican tile floors, skylights in the bedroom and bathroom, and a ground-level deck. It is in an ideal location, half a block from the beach, and only a couple of minutes' stroll from the restaurants and shops of Stinson Beach, so once you arrive here, you won't need to get in the car again until you leave.
There are captivating views from a trapezoidal window in the bedroom of 2,400-foot Mt. Tamalpais rising up behind the village of Stinson Beach. At night, the moon and stars often peek in through the bedroom skylight. Guests fall asleep to the sound of the nearby surf.
Features of the cottage include 12-foot-high sloped ceilings with a ceiling fan in the living room and plenty of windows bringing light and air. It has a modern woodburning stove with firewood provided, a fully equipped kitchen, both a bath and a shower, as well as a kitchen dining area. The floor plan is open inside, with a half wall and a Japanese screen separating the bedroom containing a queen bed, from the living room, which has a double hideabed.
Stinson Beach is a unique seaside village with a three-mile-long beach. The town sits right along the shore and up against the 2,400-foot Mount Tamalpais, so there is always a special feeling of being at the sea and the mountains at once. Enjoy great beach walks and great mountain hiking!
