Historical cottage located only two blocks from the beach. One of the original Rehoboth cottages that dates back to 1927, and is on the historical registry. Fantastic location, two blocks from the beach and silver lake, also an easy walk to town. Our cozy living room has a wood burning fireplace, and a HD flat screen tv. Beautiful and relaxing screen porch with plenty of seating. Charming backyard area that includes a patio and grill, made private by a fence. Plenty of bikes available to ride around town. Four bedrooms and two full baths with an outdoor shower.

Delightful Cottage Enhances Rehoboth Stay

My three sisters and I stayed at the cottage on 22 Norfolk Ave. for a Sisters' Weekend. The cottage was delightful; very clean with all modern amenities, yet very cozy as well. There were four bedrooms so we each had our own room. The screened in porch was very inviting; unfortunately, the weekend we were there the weather was too chilly to take advantage of it. However, the very private backyard was perfect for sitting in the sun, noshing and chatting. We especially liked the proximity to the beach, lake, boardwalk and downtown--all within walking distance. Bikes and beachchairs were available for our use. The owner was great to deal with--answering all questions in a timely manner. I would definitely rent this property again.

Charming cottage home

This wonderful cottage is just as it appears in the listing. We found it to be comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Our family of 6 stayed and certainly there was room for 2 more. The porch and back garden added even more space for spreading out, or just getting up early and having coffee. The owner was very responsive and helpful in the process; we found it to be seamless. The ocean and boardwalk are two blocks away, a very easy walk. I highly recommend this rental.

I just got back from a long weekend in Rehoboth with six girlfriends (we're friends from grad school in our late 20s and early 30s, who now live in DC). This place was absolutely perfect for us. It's very comfortable and the decorations are completely charming. It's also two blocks from the beach and a short walk to fun bars and great restaurants (we loved the Henelopen City Oyster House). Joan (the owner) is extremely attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

Great House, Great location

This is a great place! Wonderful screen front porch, owner was extremely helpful. This is a great location, easy walk downtown and to the beach. Everything was perfect. We stayed in september 2009, weather didn't cooperate, but the house was awesome!
