Half way in between and only an hour away from the activities that Los Angeles and San Diego have to offer, Lake Elsinore is only 30 minutes away from the coastal beach communities of San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point. Temecula Wine Country and Casinos are minutes away. Ski Big Bear Mountain or enjoy the Palm Springs Dessert with a trip that is less than an hour away. Local, Local, Local. Walk historic Lake Elsinore Old Town or grab a fishing pole and enjoy your catch with a bottle of wine from the Wine Country. Swing up to Glen Ivy Day Spa for a mud bath. Grab authentic Mexican food at one of the many local restaurants then head to the casino. Stay Stay Stay. Grab a book, sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Grab a floatie and head to the pool, walk the shoreline, volleyball, anyone, or what about horseshoes? Bar-b-que and settle down to peaceful, quiet evenings.

Pets Welcome: For pets to be considered a record of current shots must be shown. All pets must be deflead with a monthly flea product three days prior to rental. An additional charge for pet will be calculated with the rent. Pet acceptance is at property owner's discretion.

About Barbara Mitchell or Pam Wojciechowski

Pam and I enjoy owning and managing several properties, two in Arizona and four in California. Barbara spends her spare time enjoying her 4 grandkids, traveling and is a dental hygienist by profession. Pam is an airline attendant, making frequent trips to vist her children in Atlanta. We have been friends and neighbors for over 15 years.

We both live in a rural area in the Cleveland National Forest. When we come off the mountain into Lake Elsinore, we would see the beautiful lake and often dream of owning vacation homes on the Lake that we could rent out when our families weren't using it.

What makes this cottage unique

Our Park Model is located on the north side of the Lake. It has such a peaceful view of the Lake. We love to sit on the patio and listen to the birds and water fowl. In the evenings the lights around the Lake are breathtaking.

Golf courses, Glen Ivy Day Spa, fine restaurants and shops are within 20 minutes. 30 minutes to Temecula wine tasting, hot air balloon rides and casinos.

45 minutes to Dana Point beaches and the Mission in San Juan Capistrano.

About an hour away is Disneyland; Wild Animal Park; San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park; Palm Springs and all it has to offer; as well as winter sports at Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead in the mountains.

We had a really wonderful stay at the Lake house on Lake Elsinore and it was the perfect first holiday in the USA for us. The house was very clean, well kept and extremely well equiped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We enjoyed our time using the shared pool and found we very often had it all to ourselves although everyone we met on the RV park was very friendly. We were delighted with the location of the house too as it was close to super markets and shops aswell as good for day trips to the beach, Palm Springs and the safari park etc. Barbara was very helpful and flexible when planning our trip too. We have really fallen in love with California and hope to return next year if we can. We highly recommend the Lake house for a lovely quiet, well priced and conveniently located holiday in California. Many thanks Barbara

My wife and I recently spent a month in the "Lake House" and enjoyed every day we were there.We found the unit to be everything stated in the website including location, views, clean, and well maintained. The owners were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday in this area.
