Sanibel Island Vacation Rental condo

I've actually booked this place on a few occasions, and have always had a great experience. The condo is conveniently situated right off of the causeway once you arrive in Sanibel and is basically surrounded by water and beautiful views. You can walk right onto the pier and relax, see dolphins and manatees, and even fish if you like. We also used the grill that is right out front to grill hamburgers and have a nice picnic right on the pier at sunset - you cant beat that!

The condo itself is great - recently renovated, very clean and cozy. There is a full kitchen and even a washer/dryer for convenience. The owner is the sweetest person and has always been great to book from. We love going to Sanibel for a nice getaway from Manhattan, and this is the perfect place to stay while there!

First of all, Sanibel itself is so beautiful. Great white-sand beaches, great casual restaurants, great biking and great fishing! I love to fish and I have to say, Sanibel has some of the best fishing I've ever done. I fished 6 out of the 7 days during my stay, and I caught something every single day! Great red snapper and snook. The pier (not too far from the back door of the condo) is perfect for fishing and has sinks for cleaning fish as well. If you like to bike, then Sanibel is perfect for you too. Everyone bikes all around Sanibel because it is so flat, and the rides are so relaxing and spectacular. Bike paths are prevalent through the Island. Being from New York City, I've eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world, and I have to say, many of the restaurants in Sanibel are world-class... Amazing food, service and atmosphere. You could plan your whole trip around the restaurants. I personally love Matzaluna, Key Lime Bistro, The Mad Hatter, Sweet Melissa, and my favorite casual spot to get a blackened grouper sandwich and an ice-cold beer... the Lazy Flamingo! You can even have them clean and cook the fish you caught! Delicious. The condo itself is beautiful. Clean, modern appliances, airy, cozy and probably the best water view, I personally have seen. The bay is literally about 12 feet from the Lanai at the back of the condo, so when you are looking at the entire bay from almost any place in the condo, including the master bedroom. Waking up and looking out that window is truly a breathtaking experience. There's laundry machines and a dishwasher which makes everything easier and more convenient. 2 great pools in the complex, tennis courts, and grills. and the beach is very close. The closest beach is easily walkable. This whole week was just great in every way. The owner of the unit is very accommodating and easy to work with. I have the fondest memories and I will be back.

My wife and I only stayed for a weekend but wish we had never left. The unit was perfect in every way possible. Not only was it clean, comfortable and well maintained, it happens to offer some of the most beautiful views my wife and I have ever seen. We left wondering if our time here will be what heaven is like. We woke up every morning with a clear view of the sun rising over the bay, walked along the beautiful boardwalk with dolphins and manatee's swimming by and relaxed by the pools. This condo was the perfect home away from home on our vacation to Sanibel!
