Perfect Location

We stayed 7 nights over Labor Day 2012 and it was the perfect getaway for us. The location gave us instant access to the beach, which we took advantage of every day. We were lucky with the weather (no rain in 7 days!) and were able to walk the beaches with our two dogs, sit in our chairs and read magazines and sip wine, and hubby even caught a few interesting sea creatures while fishing. The dogs could not get enough of the low-tide tidepools and we walked unknown miles up and down. The town offers whatever you need - gas, groceries, gifts, restaurants, and the state park is very popular. There is a small bar directly across the street from the house for cheap cocktails and interesting local color, and they offer sports on TV and some fairly decent bar food.
The house was absolutely fine: spotlessly clean, plenty of linens, well-stocked kitchen and a working Washer and Dryer, which helped with the sand cleanup. I would suggest the addition of expanded cable TV selections and a few new pots or pans and sharp knives, but otherwise the house was perfect. I point out that the house does not have wi-fi, so if you're on a working vacation or need this for other reasons, you will need to go to town to find a hot-spot.
We would definitely return with no hesitation - the location is perfect for exploring the OP.
