This 5 bdrm/3 bath cedar log home is located on a plateau directly above the town of Wilson. It is surrounded on 3 sides by spruce, Douglas fir, lodgepole pine, and aspen forest as well as wildflower laden meadows. The 4th side opens to breathtaking elevated views of Jackson Hole valley, the Gros Venture and Snake mountain ranges and Sleeping Indian, Jackson Peak, and Snow King Mountain.There is easy access to the town of Wilson but the property remains both secluded and private.This property is ideally located for alpine skiers being only 7 minutes by car to either the ski slopes @ Teton Village or the town of Jackson for evening activities and fine dining. Grocery shopping @ Hungry Jacks General Store, breakfast @ Nora's, apre vous @ the Stagecoach Bar, and cross country/back country skiing equipment @ Wilson Back Country Sport are all a 2 minute walk down the pass. Or, after a day of alpine skiing, enjoy the 8 person outdoor hot tub and breathtaking mountain views @ the house.

Wilson is a cozy town nestled into the base of the Teton Range, close to both Jackson and the ski village. The area is known for it's wonderful skiing, mountain biking, world class climbing and hiking, beautiful secluded mountain lakes, and the powerful Snake River coursing through the Jackson Hole valley. Wildlife is abundant. Additional activities available include outstanding fly fishing, rafting through the rapids, dog sled mushing on pristine forest trails, natural hotsprings for soaking, hot air ballooning, paragliding, and an easy day trip to Yellowstone in both summer and winter. Lots of shopping and great eateries as well.

The lower level bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub as well as a large picture window at tub level overlooking the woods and mountains. There is a separate shower.

Wireless internet is available. Parking is available in front of the house for several cars and one heated garage space is available during the winter months. A year round concierge lives in a studio loft above the separated garage. He is available to answer any questions or problems that may arise. For a separate fee, concierge services are available for groceries upon arrival and to help pre-arrange recreational activities. Long term rentals are available.

The spacious cathedral style livingroom, dining room, and family room with a large river rock fireplace all face and view the same mountain and valley vistas. With expansive east facing windows, the house remains bright and cheerful throughout the day. The late afternoon 'alpenglow' off the mountains is breathtaking from the deck or house.
