A charming Victorian porch greets you as you enter this fully-remodeled 1909 darling cottage with Parisian Apartment-inspired decor. Carmel coated hardwood floors extend throughout the living space while curled and clad chandeliers hang from the ceilings. Decorated in soft & romantic whites, creams & pinks.

Relax in the living room or enjoy the modern day conveniences of Direct TV, DVD player, highspeed wireless Internet.

The bistro kitchen boasts of colorful views of the garden, coffee maker, granite counters, a 5-burner gas stove, fridge and microwave. Kitchen is fully stocked with antique dishes, appliances, pots & pans, etc.

After dinner, reflect in the enchanting garden with a glass of wine and be enveloped with the scent of fragrant herbs, blooming flowers and the refreshing Colorado breeze. Retire for the evening in a luxurious king-sized bed wrapped in crisp white sheets & sumptuous down comforter. A queen sleeper sofa is in the living room for 2 additional guests.

About Karen

Owning & managing vacation rentals is my passion.

This is my job. My houses were meticulously renovated for the vacation home experience. My work ethics are impeccable and the houses are above and beyond your average rental house.

I have traveled to Europe numerous times and feel a connection with the culture, architecture and the general feeling that European properties exude. That is why I've decorated in a French theme.

I enjoy sharing our city with others and enjoy making people feel comfortable and special. I will do my best to make your stay comfortable with no worries.

Why Karen chose Colorado Springs

I choose this location because of the historic nature of this area of Colorado Springs. It's called the 'Old North End'. The area started being built in the late 1800's but most along this historic street are early 1900's. This house was built in 1909. I was told by a neighbor that before it was ever a house (before 1909), it used to be a chicken coop for a farm that is still standing a few blocks away. No signs of it anymore though, just the old farmhouse.

It is just a few blocks to the I-25 corridor and is minutes from the city center. You can get virtually anywhere in the city within 20 minutes from this location.

I have lived in Colorado Springs for over 30 years and know the area quite well so I can give you advice or help in any area you need.

Less than 5 minutes away from the Central Business District offering quaint cafes, fine dining, art museums, spacious parks, and charming boutiques. 6 Miles from the South Gate of the Air Force Academy.

Within 10 minutes of the 5-Star Broadmoor resort and Colorado Springs’ own event center, The World Arena. Minutes from Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, the Olympic Training Center, Colorado College, and the Fine Arts Center. UCCS is a short 5 minute drive away. Safeway and Walgreens within a few blocks.

An excellent place to stay. Close to everything in Colorado Springs. Place was neat and well kept. We loved it and our host helped us a lot with our questions on restaurants and things to do. Highly recommended. Would stay there again.

Better Than Any Rental - True Blessing

My husband and I came to celebrate our 1 year Anniversary right after Christmas of 2012. This home was more than we expected. From the furnishings to the location, the house was exquisite. When we arrived at the house, we were happy to see the home lit up with Christmas Lights and a nice welcome message from the owner with small gifts for the wife. The kitchen had a complimentary coffee stand with a wonderful blend of coffee along with some favorite creamers. Along with the coffee were all condiments and many varieties of tea. We walked to the living room to see a beautiful Christmas tree lit up. We immediately felt at home as we unpacked our suit cases and stored our clothes in the ample storage space. Everything in the house worked well as we cooked meals and enjoyed the amenities of the house. The bed was so comfortable with many pillows. We slept great while we were there. The couch was very comfortable as well. The home had so many amenities, such as iron and ironing board, shampoo and soap, blow dryer, towels and washcloths for the week. Karen and her husband have a true servants heart as it is evident they want the best for their guest and went above and beyond to provide that. We did not want to leave!

No better place to stay

Read a few of the other reviews, this cottage exceeds all expectations. The gracious owner has thought of everything you might want to have on hand, the location is exceptional. You can easily get to any attraction in the area - we certainly did. The information on attractions in the living room was very helpful for us in planning our days. After a tiring day, we did feel like we were coming "home." We appreciated not needing to eat out every meal.

We thoroghly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Parisian cottage. It was very clean and decorated beautifully with attention to every detail. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversay and it was a perfect place to relax and revitalize. It was also centrally located so most everything was an easy 15-20 minute drive. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!
