Clean but noisy

Keep searching, or keep driving - whatever the case may be. The description of the studio is only partly accurate. They don't warn people about the NOISE from the store below, which starts early and ends late. Their massive A/C unit is right outside the studio door too. I contacted the owner to say that she really should have warned me about the noise and she said "it's a place of business, there's nothing I can do." The studio was not well-maintained for my 8-day stay; the basics either weren't here or ran out within 2 days. When I asked the contact person for the unit to replenish the basics (soap, toilet paper, etc) I was ignored. They asked for full payment upfront and I would never agree to that again. Once they have your money, what motivation is there to care about the quality of your stay? Yes, it's affordable, so maybe you think it'd be worth it to put up with the noise and lack of concern from the owners, but there are so many places in the area that don't charge much more, so I would recommend that you look elsewhere.
Owner's Response: This is the first bad review that we have had on one of our properties in 3 years. The renter was informed that the studio is above a gas station prior to arrival. In 3 years of renting I have never had a renter complain to me about noise from the A/C or customers in the store below. This renter e-mailed me complaining about the noise during her stay and unfortunately there was nothing that I could do to reduce the noise of customers talking below the studio in the store. We provide all renters with the basic necessities to get you started for your stay that include: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap,trash bags,and body soap. When this particular renter ran out of supplies she informed me through e-mail and I quickly responded and told her that it would be no problem to pick up more supplies from our store. If you are planning on peace and quiet during the day...you will hear a little noise from downstairs. However, If you are looking for a place to lay your head at night...this is a great location for a great price!
