We loved everything about this cabin - the location in Wears Valley, the view, the amenities, and especially the price! The only thing we wished it had was a jacuzzi, but since it had a hot tub this wasn't a big deal. I was a little bit surprised that there was only one small bar of soap provided for each bathroom, and no shampoo at all - we had brought our own, so again, not a big deal, but since this is a standard provision in hotels I expected to find some in the cabin. The owner was very nice and quick to respond to our inquiry. I was especially pleased that there were no extra charges besides tax. We stay in cabins in the Smokies every year, and usually pay reservation fees and cleaning fees in addition to the rental price. I was really happy the owners didn't tack on that extra charge. All in all, this cabin was very nice and very reasonably priced. We plan to stay there again in the future, and I've already recommended it to others!
Owner's Response: As renters of other cabins we disliked the "add on" fees that some charge. That is why we only charge the rental fee plus the tax required by law. A bar of soap is provided as a courtesy for guests to wash their hands, toiletries are not provided as most guests stay for a longer period than such items would last.
