We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this wonderful home in January 2013. The house is just wonderful! The kitchen is stocked with anything you could possibly need, and is perfectly laid out for everything from a quiet dinner in, to entertaining several families at once. The new living room and AMAZING fireplace are beyond charming...somehow spacious and cozy at the same time. Curling up in the comfy couch with a book with the fire going was delightful! You can have several people in the house at once, and each can have a quiet spot if they wish, as there are so many spaces and places to land, and yet the big great room leading into the kitchen is the perfect place for a large family game of Pictionary or Trivial Pursuit...both of which can be found among the numerous board games and children's toys available in the little den/library room off the kitchen, where our kids spent a lot of time playing or watching videos while the grown ups enjoyed some time alone! The mud room is ideally designed to hold all your stuff after a full day of skiing, and there is more than enough room to comfortably sleep both kids and adults. Okemo is just minutes away (about 8) and yet you can easily access Bromley, Stratton, Mt. Snow, etc. We can't wait to go back, and Lynn and Bob couldn't have been easier to work with or more helpful. I can't recommend this home enough!
