The apartment is exactly as described, John, Barbara and everyone else were very easy to deal with, answered all our questions and made our stay extremely comfortable. The location is fantastic, everything you want or need is close by or easily accessible. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Paris, this one is highly recommended.
This apartment was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed there just a few months before we went. We were expecting a reasonably clean, fairly well furnished small apartment. What we got was way beyond our expectations. This is such a great place to stay. Close to the Hotel de Ville metro, walking distance to many restaurants, cafés (there are three on the square directly below the unit) shops, stores, boulangeries etc. The square that the apartment overlooks can be animated but we were totally enchanted by the bustle downstairs. We really felt we were in Paris, not a hotel that could be anywhere. The apartment comes equipped with absolutely anything you might need. And everything works! The cable, the wifi, the washer/dryer. I just loved this gem and if I ever move to paris I hope we can live in an apartment just like it!
We had a wonderful time in the apartment for our 10 day stay in Paris. It was ideally located to explore the Marais and to use the Metro. The bed was very comfortable and the internet was fast. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay!
A girlfriend and I spent a week in this nicely appointed apartment. It's location was perfect for easy access, either on foot or via Metro, to all the major sites in Paris. It is very spacious and has all you need for a home away from home. We took full advantage of the kitchen and convenient grocers, as well as the outdoor market that sprung up twice a week across the street.
The Wi-Fi was fast, the bed and pullout were quite comfortable, and there was always someone available by phone or email to answer any questions. The apartment was quite spacious by French standards, though the elevator was adorably tiny. But it did the job! If you are not lugging heavy suitcases, the stairs are very manageable.
There are several delightful bistros/cafes just below. With the windows open you could hear activity, but once shut, the apartment was quiet.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others too.
My husband and I have rented many properties in France, including other apartments in Paris. This was by far the most comfortable and best located! The owner was very pleasant to work with from beginning to end, including being able to pay in dollars and with a credit card, as was his property manager Barbara who met us upon arrival and who was readily available by phone to answer our questions.
The apartment felt like home the instant we arrived, everything very clean and inviting, well equipped with all the basic necessities and the added bonus of a separate dressing room.
The neighborhood was so full of life - many restaurants just steps out the front door as well as one of the best bakeries right across the street. The Marais is so interesting with its tiny streets, shops and museums, we were in walking distance of everything. It says a lot that we bought a book of 10 Metro tickets and used only 2!
We hope to be lucky enough to have a return visit soon.
We loved staying in this house! It was more beautiful than the pictures and very well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, the AC was quiet convenient and quiet, all was super clean with plenty of towels. The convenience to major attractions was exceptional. The location with the courtyard and restaurants in the front made it a very Parisian experience. We sat infront of the window and watched the people below. At night, we closed the windows and it was surprisingly very quiet. We walked everywhere. The area had so many cool cafes and restaurants and just a couple of blocks to the Seine River. Grab a bottle of wine and picnic anywhere along the River. Just lovely!!. This property comes highly recommended!
