What a fabulous, relaxing retreat in this beautifully decorated gulfside townhouse with tropical décor. This great beach escape has ceramic tile, burber carpet & matchstick roman shades. Fully equipped, from high speed internet to any kitchen appliance you may need.Tropical Paradise has everything you need for a great vacation at the beach!

Relaxing gulf views from the decks on each level. Upper level: The dining room has a pub high table that accommodates 8 and two bars with stools.

Living area with bamboo tables/two gorgeous bamboo sofas (one is a queen-size sofa-bed), bistro table/two stools, stereo, flat screen TV/DVD. The bedrooms are on the first floor and your own washer and dryer. Master Bedroom looks out to the tranquil beach. A TV/DVD player and private bath for t.he parents. Bunk room and Master Bedroom share a private deck. Bunk room also has a trundle bed when opened and raised makes a king size bed. Beach toys included.

Tropical Paradise is such a tranquil Townhome. Great beach views from every room. Private decks complete with table and chairs. The kitchen has all you need for cooking for your family. Living room has a sofa bed and another large sofa. A rocking chair for you and baby or rocking away your cares. Pantry and refrigerator can hold enough food for a week.

Gas Grill and Propane Seafood Cooker available upon request. The patio area is a great place to relax in the shade (with a swing and picnic table) and let the little ones play in a safe area. We have a wagon for taking the little ones to the beach and all they may need for a few hours of play. Umbrella's for shade and beach chairs to enjoy.

The washer and dryer are on the first floor with the bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own private full bath and shares a private deck with the bunk room. A full bath off of the bunk room to accommodate the children or other guests.

Bunk room has a TV/DVD player. Great views of the beach from both master bedroom and bunk room.

Clean bathrooms are a must here! I check the Townhome myself before new guests arrive. Linens and towels, a 'limited' supply of laundry detergent, t.paper, paper towels, kitchen foil, napkins, dishwasher detergent and liquid dish soap are provided. A baby gate, high chair and pac and play are available.

Nate's Seafood and Steak House, Seven Seas Market are within walking distance. A super amenity when you do not want to cook or have forgotten a special ingredient for a special meal you are going to prepare. (Blue Bell ice cream 'A MADE IN TEXAS' product can be found at Seven Seas Market) The Market has magazines, flip flops, souvenirs, hats, and any grocery needs.

The Townhome is 11 miles west from 61st and Seawall Blvd. 15 minutes to Moody Gardens, 20 minutes to the Strand.

Lots of other museums to visit. The new PLEASURE PIER will open Memorial Day this year. Rent a 4 person covered bicycle to ride along the Seawall.

Galveston has a lot to offer and not to far go to go for a great vacation!

Our Property is 9.5 miles from Moody Gardens, IMAX Theather. Schlitterbahn Water Park, Rain Forest, Twenty minuites to Galveston carriage rides on The Strand. The Strand was Galveston's commerce center in the late 1800's.Lone Star Flight Museum displays rebuilt aircraft and historic photos of wartime aircraft. Moody Mansion , completed in 1895 Is the epitome of Victorian architecture in the turn of the century. It survived the 1900 hurricane and is open for tours and lunch. Galveston has many fishing charters for deep sea fishing. So much to do here. Come home to our property after a fun day and relax at the beach in a private community. Galveston's new Pleasure Pier to open Memorial Day 2012

Other Activities: There is an XBox for the rainy days or time away from the sun. Shelling and lots of seafood to eat! Seafood Restaurant next door (1 minute walk), Fishing pier about 5-10miles. Horse back riding,

Kayaking tours, (for a donation to the Friends of Galveston Island State Park.) Beach front tours on Saturday of the State Park and info about the creatures that live in the sand. A family of Alpacas for children to feed at the Jamaica Beach RV Park.

My family and I spent Thanksgiving week at this delightful and cheerful town home...'loved the beach theme decorations. It was very clean and well stocked with items you would not expect. Nancy even had Thanksgiving napkins on the dining table and brought a bouquet of pretty flowers...how thoughtful. She and her husband are a nice, easy going couple. We enjoyed talking to them. The view and the sound of the ocean was very peaceful. The little wagon for beach chairs and toys (available for use in the storage closet) was convenient and easy to pull over the dunes. We did not want to leave when our stay came to an end.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Beautiful and calm place, nice for kids

We enjoyed the stay in the townhouse, the contact with the owner was nice.
The house is big, clean an well equipped, so we only had to take care of what we put in the fridge.
The view to the beach is more beautiful as the photos showed here ;-). The beach is beautiful.
We visited the seawolf park & the lone star flight museum.
The kids (1 and 4 years old) enjoyed the stay.... there were a lot of beach toys and they love the house.
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great vacation rental - Tropical Paradise

We had a GREAT week at Tropical Paradise. The place was VERY comfortable. My 71 year old mom slept on the fold out couch/bed and said it was even more comfortable than her bed at home! WOW! Any little fixes that needed attention were handled and the owner was very sweet and friendly to work with. We even loved the little path to the beach - not a long walk at all. LOVED the swing downstairs, used it daily, and LOVED how well stocked the downstairs supply closet was (including wagon for carting things to the beach). My 3-year old loved having so many stairs (both inside and outside) and it felt safe for him... no crazy breakables around for him to destroy. And it was VERY handy having the Seven Seas grocery next door. There were a couple of dinners being prepared when we had to send a family member to grab something we forgot. We would definitely recommend it, and stay there again. Thanks, Tropical Paradise!

A well-equipped, family friendly get-away!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, a 3 year old and 6 year old) had a wonderful week stay at Tropical Paradise. It was so relaxing to have everything we needed -- a fully equipped kitchen, all the beach stuff we could want, plus kid-friendly stuff like plastic cups, plates, a bed rail and even toys and books!

Having a restaurant and full market right next door was really convenient, we hardly got in the car once we arrived. The whole family spent hours enjoying the beach and it was so easy for one of us to pop back to the house to make a picnic lunch or relax with a book on the deck.

Nancy made us feel very welcome!

Delightful!

We rented this townhome for a girlfriend trip in October of 2011. It was exactly what we wanted: right on the beach with easy access. It also has three full bathrooms, ,which was great for women traveling together! It is very spacious. Every living space including bedrooms open onto a balcony that looks out over the ocean. The decor is delightful - very tasteful and beach oriented. It truly made our trip feel like a resort get away. Because it is on a private beach, their were only a few other people there and everyone that came by was very friendly. The owner, Nancy, was very helpful and provided everything that we needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend this townhome - we'll back!
