This home features 3 bedrooms, which has 2 master bedrooms and a third bedroom. Located in the 'Old Town' section of Seal Beach which runs along the shore and is a short walk to downtown Main Street and the pier. Main Street offers clothing, antique and gift shops, a bike shop, surf shop, salons and spas, restaurants, and a theater. Take a stroll down the 2 block long pier and watch the surfers as the waves roll beneath you...you can often see the seals at play from the end of the pier. Walk out the front door and cross the street to get to the beach...don't forget the boogie boards and sand toys provided. Miles and miles of bike paths along the beaches and the river that runs into the ocean. Nearby Long Beach offers an outstanding aquarium, museums, dining and shopping accessible by walking, biking, driving or water taxi!

Summer Fun at the Beach

House is wonderful and as described - the beach is just across the street and is very secluded in the mornings - which is when our group used it. Even saw dolphins one morning - awesome. The house is indeed very comfy. We never used the formal dining room or living room - preferring the den attached to the kitchen. Owner and reps were very helpful and there if we needed assistance. The photos don't actually do it justice - the hardwood floors are awesome and it has a comfy homey vibe. We cruised downtown and the marina (just a hop and skip away). The farmers market at the marina on Sunday is a must - visit spot - for fresh fruits, veggies, organic dips and arts and crafts. We would recommend the small town much better that the big city but close enough to go sight-see at them when you want to. We truly enjoyed this house and would love to return again.

Our Home Away From Home

We first visited this lovely home three years ago when our daughter and family moved to Seal Beach, and have returned twice every year to celebrate birthdays with our grandchildren. It is a perfect home away from home as it is spacious, clean, well maintained, comfortable, beautiful, and truly steps from the beach. It is a delight to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, and the views are truly spectacular.

Our Denver children and grandchildren have joined us for part of our stay and found this home to be a perfect starting point for visiting all the usual California attractions.

Susan, the owner, is a joy to work with, and her sons have taken care of any needs during our stays. I can't imagine staying any other place for our visits.

Sensational for the family

We have just completed our trip to this lovely home from Australia. Susan and Drew were so accommodating to all our needs. The house is complete with all the amenities for a family or just a couple. we went with our 11 and 9 year old children. the house was large enough to accommodate all our sleepings arrangements. The location is nothing but sensational. Seal beach is a little sea side location well away from all the Hustle and action of LA. We enjoyed the nightly walks up to main street and all the many restaurants available. The area was great and I cannot say more about Seal Beach, Susan and Drew.

A Fabulous Week at Seal Beach

Our week at Seal Beach was wonderful. The beach house is delightful and is all that it promises to be. It is well maintained and the furnishings are elegant. The ocean breezes are heavenly and the views from the decks are out of this are out of this world. The owners are very easy to work with and carry through with their part of the agreement. We want to return next year.

We stayed at this house in mid-July and all the information given on the website was right on. The home was beautiful, CLEAN, and well taken care of. The owners Susan and Jerry were so easy to deal with and we had no surprises. Jerry came the first night to tell us about the home, the area, and any restaurants he would suggest. We loved the proximity to the beach and the town center. The town is very quaint and the towns people are low key and friendly. Not a snobbish feel at all, like many other California coastal towns. Main street has a great spa for massages and pedicure/manicures. It contains a couple nice bakeries and some great restaurants. We enjoyed eating at the Yucatan cafe for mexican fare. The owners were very nice and the food was delicious. The home had a wonderful kitchen, barbecue, 3 balconies to enjoy your morning latte,surf boards and boogie boards for our enjoyment. My husband rode around town on the bicycles and we took many relaxing walks. The beach was uncrowded and there is a surf school right on the beach you can sign up and take a surf lesson while you stay. Thanks to Susan and Jerry for the wonderful week we spent at your beautiful home!
