Tucked between the steep Sierra de la Giganta mountains and the Sea of Cortés—“where the mountains come to swim”— this beautiful Spanish colonial home featuring terra cotta floors, plaster walls, and natural woodwork sits a couple of hundred yards from the beach. Part of the Founders Neighborhood in the eco-friendly Loreto Bay Villages, you are quickly reminded of an old European town with homes nestled close to beautifully landscaped meandering walkways. The waters of Loreto Bay are part of the Loreto Bay Marine Park inhabited by over 800 species of marine life and included in United Nations' list of protected World Heritage Sites.
My husband and I just spent 5 of the happiest weeks we've ever had in this cosy casa. Everything was as promised and more. The community is lonely and the people were welcoming where ever we went. It's hard to describe the stunning beauty of the area. We would love to go there again as there was still lots we hadn't experienced. The owner is a very nice man and communicates well. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Yash!
We just spent 11 days in this beautiful villa. The pictures can not capture the magic of the place. It’s a very hard place to leave. The owner, Yash, was super easy to work with; very responsive and delivered everything that was promised! No hidden surprises. The management and securtiy on site was also great.
Everything we needed was there, from coffee grinder to beach towels. Beds were very comfortable, WiFi, nice outdoor furniture, clean, warm and inviting. We loved the outdoor kitchen and lazing away the afternoons in the third level viewing tower enjoying the ocean breeze.
A charming flowered-filled walk through the villas to the beach. From there it’s easy to jump into a kayak and glide atop the aquarium that is the Sea of Cortez.
Loreto is a charming town where we found great food at very reasonable prices. The locals are welcoming and helpful, even when you can’t speak the language.
We highly recommend Loreto and this villa in Loreto Bay!
I spent over half an hour writing a detailed review on the property and location but it disapeared when I hit "submit". Don't have the energy to do it again, but the place was fantastic and we really recommend it.
