Tranquil, waterfront retreat in West Seattle. Beach Drive in West Seattle is just south around the bend from Alki Beach. On Alki, restaurants and shops and people watching abound. This is all within easy walking distance of this condo. Yet, upon immediately entering this retreat, one is struck by the captivating, serene and panoramic view of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and Ferry Boats as they cruise to and from the neighboring islands. Beach Drive/Alki Beach has an island feel yet Downtown Seattle is 15 minutes away. By car, public transportation or Elliot Bay Water taxi- all connect you to Pike Place Market, Downtown Shopping and Theatres and Museums, Seattle Waterfront, Safeco Ballpark of the Seattle Mariners, Qwest Field - home of our NFL Seahawks and FC Seattle Sounders. Downtown Seattle is the contemporary heart of the Pacific Northwest, but Alki is the Birthplace of Seattle.

This is true waterfront living - the property is 90 feet wide and extends over 100 feet into Puget Sound. The retreating tide provides opportunities for beachcombing. You may actively engage the outdoors or quietly observe from the condo - the marine life, kayakers and divers who frequent the water off Beach Drive. The modern interior environment of the condo features bamboo hardwood floors, tile, and natural wool carpet in bedrooms. In floor radiant heat and a natural gas fireplace take the chill out of any cool Seattle morning. Natural light is abundant in this westerly-facing condo.

The sunsets are magnificent! Summer temperatures are quickly tempered by the cool breeze off the water. There is nothing else like it. The sounds of the water and close-contact to nature within a metropolitan environment is definitely unique.

Great directions, easy entry, clean, well-maintained, friendly and cooperative owner, would recommend to anyone who loves a beautiful view, accommodating kitchen, peace, restful decor and well-planned floor layout. We were so pleased that we all put this one on our calendar to stay in whenever we're in Seattle.
