We had been searching some time to find a cabin large enough to take the entire family for a week at Christmas. This cabin certainly had enough living space as well as bedrooms and separate bathrooms. It was for sure one of the best Christmas' we have had since the kids were toddlers!
There were a few things that could have improved the cabin drastically. With a little TLC it would be perfect. Simple things...light bulbs in all the lights, switch plate covers in place, sheets that match, fireplaces that work, ice maker that works, enough dishes in the kitchen for 17 people not 6. A few yard sales to add some decor would make this place awesome!
I do have a slight problem with it being the responsibility of the renter to ensure the cabin is left clean for the next renter. I know when we left the cabin it was very clean however, I am not sure I feel confident the renter before cleaned toilets, sinks, floors, bedding, etc. I truly feel cleaning should be the responsibility of the management to guarantee everything is done properly.
Again, we would certainly rent again....just some thoughts for improvement.
