I've lived in Fulham for over 30 years and love it here. I have worked part time for the last 10 years for a charity supporting women with breast cancer and been involved in complementary medicine and nutrition for at least 25 years. I have just finished doing a Masters in International Public Health Nutrition (phew!). However, I have done B&B on and off for over 20 years and love meeting and welcoming all the wonderful people who visit from all over the world and come and stay at my very British B&B.
Nadia Brydon purchased this house in 2007
I chose to buy in Fulham because it is in Central London and yet in a lovely green and leafy safe residential area just a short ride on public transport directly into the city centre. Walking is only minutes to a wide range of restaurants, shops, English pubs, parks, shopping centres, the Thames and lovely antique shops. It's so quiet and yet so central.
I bought my house and completely gutted it from top to bottom which was great fun to do. The house is decorated in natural materials using natural fabrics, stone, wood and marble. It's very bright and light and airy. Lots of attention to detail and the house is kept immaculatedly clean and tidy by my lovely cleaning lady. It is requested shoes are removed at the front door which helps keep the house so clean. You will be nurtured and well looked after here. It really is a cozy haven in the centre of London with a lovely garden to rest in at the end of the day or have your breakfast in on warm sunny days before the start of your sight seeing. Because it is quite small it has a lovely cottagey feeling about it. I hope you love it like I do!
Our stay at Nadia's Fulham B&B was fabulous. Nadia has created a peaceful oasis. The location is easy to get to from all the sights that London has to offer and it was always a pleasure to get back at the end of a full day. Nadia's home is a safe haven for the chemically sensitive.
We enjoyed our 3 weeks very much. Excellent location for touring London by bus or tube. Accomodation was as advertised...small but very comfortable with a great view of her lovely English Garden. Nadia was most helpful with information about the area attractions etc. If we ever have the chance to return to London we would definetely plan on staying in the Cozy Cottage again. We stayed at Nadia's place from 07 -13 September, what a nice place it turned out to be. From the time we contacted Nadia and booked our stay she was most helpful with everything. We got great suggestions for travel, sightseeing and eating places. Her apartment was small by Canadian standards but very well organized and had everything in it what we needed. We learned again how to, use our space economically. The "Cozy Cottage" is ideally situated for bus and underground, getting to central London was very easy. We visited the best fish and chips shop in London ( claimed by Trivago) close by, they indeed served a great product. We will not plan another visit to London before contacting Nadia to see whether we can stay at "Cozy Cottage" again.

My husband and I were very happy to be able to stay in this garden cottage while we were visiting London. The space is small, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is in a good location. Lydia is an excellent hostess and provided us with food for a light breakfast and directions to some yummy restaurants and local public transport. She also encouraged us to check out the state rooms at Buckingham Palace, which are open for a short time once a year, and it was a highlight for our trip. We recommend this lovely space to anyone or a couple looking for a great space in London. Thanks again!
I enjoyed my stay very very much! The room was big (comparing to london hotels it was huge :-D), very clean and cozy! The owner is extremely helpful and kind! There are many guides, books, dvds, so when it rains (and it was raining a lot when i was there), you can also enjoy inside feeling like home. The breakfast items were great! Oh, and the garden, i guess when it is sunny it is extremely nice to sit outside with a glass of wine, i could't experience it due to rain though, but it is not garden's fault :-). Thank you so much Nadia!!!

We were a little intimidated to take a chance on the cozy cottage, but we are so glad we did. We had wonderful weather, with breakfast out in the garden every day. Nadia was so welcoming and helpful, in every way. We hope we will be able to stay at the cozy cottage again, longer next time, six days was not enough, for wonderful London.
Property is located in zone 2 in the pretty and popular upmarket London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and therefore is in the centre of London. Area is in lovely quiet residential area yet has everything just a stones throw away. Public transport amazing and just one minute from 8 different buses going directly to all major London tourist attractions (Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Waxworks, China town, Harrods, London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq etc) , shopping (Bond St, Knightsbridge, Oxford St, Kings Road etc) , theatres (the theatre scene around Soho and Leicester Sq), museums (V&A, Science Museum, Natural History, British Museum etc), and takes just half an hour at the most. Going in the opposite direction Kew Gardens is just 30 minutes away. Tube/Underground just 10 minutes walking to Piccadilly, Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines. Heathrow about 45 minutes only and Gatwick takes about 1 1/2 hours. Just 1 minute from the house are masses of antique shops, restaurants, pubs, grocery shops etc only minutes from front door and we are 10 minutes from major shopping centres including Westfield. Portobello Road for antiques shopping on a Saturday morning just 20 minutes on the bus. Thames just 5 minutes walk with lots of Oldy worldy pubs and river walks. 3 football stadiums in the Borough so keen footie fans can be at Fulham or Chelsea football stadiums just 10 minutes walk down the road. All my guests just love this location.
