Listing was accurate. Very clean property! Stocked very well. Owner answered all of our questions. Cameron Circle has one of the best views of the Lake. The view from this house can be seen from the deck--awesome-- (hard to find at other homes). The dock was great to sit back and take it all in!
Also the cleanest gas grill I have seen at a rental. It was a our 1st time-- but we will be repeat customers! Barry-- thanks for the card and the nice
surprise-- very nice touch
we brought four teenage boys for Spring Break and the house was a perfect spot for us. We docked our pontoon and enjoyed boating several days. The house was great for everyone to have their space and the view was perfect
Very nice home with a great view of the lake. The first morning we saw a deer run through the yard. Close to nature but not too far from town. Didn't have much luck fishing wish it would have been a little warmer. Overall very enjoyable weekend would definitely stay again.
This house was lovely, very open and had a beautiful atmosphere and location. The house was prepared so nicely and came with a well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to cook somewhat elaborate meals for the weekend, it was a bit smaller than expected, but was fine for two people to be in the space. I can imagine the back deck being so wonderful to be on during the summer months. The house was beautiful and welcoming, a great space for a vacation on the lake!
We can't say enough good things about Tami & her beautiful lake home :) Our trip was for us to check out the area for a future move, and we were so pleased with our time there. We were fortunate to have our stay just after Christmas and the home was still decorated giving such a warm, comfortable feeling. My husband didn't waste any time to check out the dock for some fishing, and saw a very large spotted bass; just at the end of the main street is a bait store/BBQ with the nicest people who owned it. Downtown was nice and convenient with all the grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Our favorite was Mellow Mushroom on Green Street! We have four children and they spent most of their time playing air hockey and ping pong, or collecting the various rocks/quartz down by the dock. There is a nice park (Robinson) around the corner with a nice hiking trail we were able to walk down and out onto the shore line. We felt right at home with the spacious layout, but yet so comfortable at night in front of the fireplace while watching a movie. We enjoyed hot cocoa in the front room and dinner on the deck most nights. The grill was such a nice feature. I would definitely say that Tami has thought of everything to stock the home with! Even with things we forgot, we were able to find in the kitchen or elsewhere. Everything worked well and was very clean. The beds were comfortable and clean as well. The master was huge! We did a lot of sightseeing, but at the home we were lucky to see a group of 6 deer come just feet away from the front door which was very sweet and memorable. We were able to travel to Dahlonega & Helen, would definitely recommend the quaint downtown of Dahlonega and its eclectic/antique stores. We really cannot say enough good things about our trip, it was perfect and relaxing; a true 5 star home and vacation! Thanks again and hope to come back this summer :)
The house had a beautiful view of the lake, specially the sunrise! We felt right at home. It was clean and very well maintained. The owners were great. We will definitely be returning.
I hosted 3 different groups at the house the week that I rented it. First was a group of ladies from my church who have lost their husbands or a child. Several spent the night, but others came for lunch and fellowship. The house is very adequate for special times like this.
Next there were 5 quilters who brought their sewing machines and all that go with quilting! They spent 2 nights, and again the house perfect!
Our last group was 5 women who came to plan women ministry events for 2015. Of all the ladies who participated in the activities of the week, no one had a negative comment about the house.
The house is spacious, but cozy for groups to gather. It was very clean, well maintained. The owner was just an email or phone call away if you have a question. She is very pleasant to deal with.
I would highly recommend this property. The view is fantastic. The area restaurants and shopping a wonderful. But I chose to "stay at home" and enjoy the house!
Lake Lanier is the #1 visited Army Corp Lake in the U.S. It covers 38,000 acres and is know for its trophy spotted bass and strippers. It is home to the 2010, Forrest Wood Fishing tournament.
Our location is close to 2 marinas, several restaurants you can visit by boat. Lake Lanier Island Water Park is close by where you and the family can go to the waterpark, do a canopy tour or Zipline, or go to the new cable park, boating or canoeing. The local 'Jumping Rock', is close by and a boat ramp is just around the corner at Robinson Park.
In addition, there is Historic Gainesville for shopping, North Ga. Outlet Mall, Road Atlanta, numerous golf courses, Chateau Elan Winery, and always the Ga. Mountains.
