Bring your friends and family to this delightful virgin paradise. The beauty of #315 is the grand size and special appointments, at 1,800 +sq.ft., fully tiled and with a 30’ long covered gallery for outdoor dining and lounging. It’s as big as a large home but has rentals based on a two bedroom, four person occupancy, so you have the best of both worlds.

Not next to or near a beach, but ‘Right on the Beach.' You will be able to relax and enjoy one of the largest units in this award winning ocean front resort complex. We have so many guest that simply request #315 year after year, without reservation.

August - September Special: Because the weather is warmer in the states in August/September many people feel the Caribbean is not an attactive destination. That is why we offer '5 WILL GET YOU 7' August - September Special.

The reality is that St.Croix summers are just as great an the winters, a little less windy, but everyday is still a beach day. Typicaly August - September are warmer when you are in-town, away from the ocean beaches, but very comfortable when in our air conditioned unit or on our beach under a palm tree. We often have short Caribbean summer showers that last only a few minutes and also cool things down in the late afternoons.

We offer this special '5 WILL GET YOU 7' value at our reduced off-season rate.

4 people can spend the entire week @ Sugar Beach Resort #315 during the months of August - September for only $850 + 10% VI tax.

Comforts and Features:: This is one of the largest units in this complex with over 1800 s.f. of floor space.

Additional space like the loft gallery, plus cherry stain doors not found in other units.

The extra long covered waterfront balcony really adds to the comfort of the space.

Its extremely high cathedral ceilings, large bright windows offering lots of natural lighting and extremely pleasant surroundings make this a wonderful living experience.

Competitiveness/Size: I can tell you that 315 is by far one of the best designed, pleasantly decorated, largest, and most affordable in the resort complex.

You will pay the same rate for our unit as you would for a standard two bedroom unit without the added benefit of the open end galley and double sized loft. The advantage of a large end unit is apparent in the open bright, 17' cathedral ceilings, offering airy space at almost twice the size of other units in the complex.

We are semi-retired self-employed in the SW Missouri area & even though we live on a lake, we still enjoy traveling & doing different things, especiall at St. Croix where we can get some well deserved 'island time.'

Why Steve chose St. Croix

Prior to purchasing our unit #315 at Sugar Beach, we had visited an island under the flag of a different country. We realized if we wanted to enjoy some real quality 'island time' with a secure investment we needed to buy property that flew under the American flag. We also wanted a non-commercial island, not densily populated for the best living environment. We souht to secure a large direct 'beachfront' unit, which was not only large enough for our family but able to accommidate other families our size, with great views of the Caribbean. We looked for a bright, pleasant,airy & exciting space with supplemental services. Needless to say we found it all right here @ Sugar Beach. Our first visit to Sugar Beach was a very pleasant experience. the other owners & staff made us feel right at home.

What makes this condo unique

Sugar Beach Resort Complex consist of only 45 residential units, located on a 500' long Caribbean Ocean Beach. The complex includes a beautiful swimming pool built around an Historic Preserved Sugar Mill, Clubhouse & Tennis Courts. The property is beautifully landscaped with manu unique species of vegetation & used for wedding & other social events on the island. We are fortunate to have good restaurants located on either side of the complex that can be accessed form the beach. Sugar Beach is close to all island activities including Christiansted Town Center, where open air attractive shopping, restaurants with ocean fornt dining & island specialities are located cpmplete with continusous waterfront boardwalk & other special attractions in the harbor.

Nice!!

I think overall this is a very nice property. My biggest complaint would be the set up of the unit. The loft over looks the master bedroom, so no privacy for anyone using that room.

Also the access to the side room is either through the master or through the other bedroom. Again not much privacy for anyone occupying those rooms.

The view of the ocean is pretty spectacular. We loved sitting outside in the morning and just enjoying the view over breakfast.

The pool was great...and there is nothing like getting up and being steps from the pool or ocean!

The staff at Sugar Beach are very friendly.

Perfect Beach Vacation

The condo was the perfect option for the amount of people we had in our party. The main bedrooms were very nice and the other two bedrooms worked great. This condo is in the perfect location to visit any part of the island. The condo is also on a very nice sandy beach.

Wonderful place for a family get-together!

A beautiful, breezy spot to gather the family. We are a group of 7 adults and one young toddler. This condo was very comfortable for us. The view and breezes are magnificent, The beach, pool and common areas are well maintained. A minor maintenance issue was very quickly addressed even though it was Boxing Day! I wish we were still there!

Great Condo...Great view...Great Price = Paradise

We rented this fabulous unit in for a week July 2013. Having never been to the Caribbean before, I looked for a condo or resort that was reasonably priced and offered a great beach front view. With unit #315, we found a gem. This unit had more than enough space to accommodate us. We absolutely loved waking up in the morning and drinking our coffee on the galley and enjoying the ocean view. There is no need to bring towels, linen or anything really as this unit has everything you need to to survive, to include washer and dryer. I would however recommend going to a local grocery store or food market for as many meals as possible as eating out can be expensive. We usually spent most of our days traveling the island sightseeing and enjoyed the satellite TV (Dish Network) in the evening or just enjoyed the trade wind breeze on the galley (balcony). I highly recommend renting a car to get around the island. It is a little intimidating at first trying to find your way around, as street signs aren't always easily visible, but after a day or two, we were pros. The Sugar Beach resort also has a decent sized pool that was never crowded. It was great to have it all to our selves in the evening to unwind after a nice day at the beach. The beach at Sugar Beach is rather shallow, and has a lot of sea grass, but that didn't bother us. Once you wade or snorkel out a hundred yards or so, you can get to the clear blue water, however my personal favorite beach to swim and snorkel at was Cane Bay where we swam out several hundred yards and snorkeled and saw lots of sea life. If you desire calmer beach waters, you can visit Mermaid Beach or take the ferry at the harbor to the Protestant Cay. In any case, beaches will not be anywhere close to crowded like in the U.S. We had TONS of room on all the beaches we visited. Buck Island is a must if you have the time to fit it in. We loved Buck Island so much, we went twice. Sugar Beach also has security so at no time did we feel unsafe. There are several food markets within a mile or so. We personally liked Pueblo World Food Market because the selection was on par with a grocery store in the U.S. Food Town also offers a good selection. The restaurant Breezez next door is only about a 3 minute walk away and the food was pretty good. If you like chicken, I recommend LaReine's Chicken Shack. They offer daily specials at very reasonable prices. Thanks Steve and Cathy for sharing your wonderful condo. It truly was the best vacation ever!

Condo was better than expected! Thanks!

We stayed in condo #315 at the Sugar Beach Resort during our stay in July 2012 for 2 weeks. There were 4 adults and 2 young children with us and the unit had more space than we expected. There was a 4th bedroom in the loft that we never even used. The condo was very clean and had many new upgrades such as furniture, tv, appliances and linens. The full size kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit were a huge convenience for us with the kids. There is a very large, fully gated patio looking straight at the beach. It was safe for the kids and the view was gorgeous. We had wi-fi and satelite on the tv as well. The pool at the resort was very clean and well maintained. It even had booths in the pool so you could comfortably enjoy a drink while swimming. There are two restaurants on either side of the resort within about a 2 minute walk. I definitely recommend Breezes for lunch/dinner. One thing to note is although the beach at the resort was very relaxing and beautiful, there is a lot of seagrass in the water at Sugar Beach. This didn't bother us or the kids since seagrass isn't slimey like seaweed but just so you know. The snorkeling at Sugar Beach is great because there are many coral reefs to look at thanks to a long stretch of underwater tires that were installed years ago that have grown coral. The best beaches were Chenay and Rainbow if your looking for white soft sand and smooth water. We did loose power and water at the condo a few times but this is very common on the island. It was not specific to our room or our building. The whole block was out but it returned quickly. I recommend getting a car in St. Croix. It's difficult to see the beaches or any sites if you don't have your own transportation. Parking at Sugar Beach was free. We had a wonderful trip, largely due to the great accomodations we had with this unit. We were visiting family that lives on the island and it was really nice to be able to have dinners with them in the condo and fit everyone comfortably.
