What makes our residence so attractive is the proximity to the little village of Cabarete, walk down the beach to it with its Saint Tropez like atmosphere, Dominican shops and excellent dining at over 20 local and international restaurants situated right on the beach. Cabarete has become the hottest spot on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Ocean Dream consists of 8 individual complexes each with their own swimming pool, 24 hour security and unique address on the paved, Kite Drive road. Each complex has luscious tropical landscaping offering a unique rental experience. This unit features spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom overlooking a large pool less than sixty meters from the beach. The condominiums are 1,100 square feet in size and 9 foot ceilings. They are constructed of highest quality materials including porcelanato tiles for flooring and stainless steel faucets. Paradise!

Tropical Beach Nights: The action doesn't stop here when the sun sets. Restaurants and bars lining the beach beckon you with candlelit tables, culinary treats, and views of the ocean Bay and star filled sky. The nightlife heats up when friendly people from all over the world, gather to share refreshing cocktails and dance to world beats. Sleep is a must for the next day's activities, but it will be hard to tear yourself away from the fun! There is yoga available, massage, spinning classes, motorcycles, kite surf classes, shopping in beautiful stores, beauty salon, and many more.

It is a different experience to be in Cabarete!

Dining & Restaurants: In and around Cabarete you will find over twenty-five different style restaurants. Great dining under the stars with your feet in the sand is less than a ten minute walk from Ocean Dream and Harmony.

My favorite pizza in the world is at Pomodoro. For a romantic dinner La Otra Cosa is the perfect setting. Casa de Pescador with Don Papi has best shrimp and lobster paellas. Pub drinking at Jose O'Shea's.

A few of the restaurants turn into discos at night playing a variety of dance music, often with a local flavor like reggaeton. Usually on the weekends one or more of the discos has a DJ from Europe in, so get ready to party Ibiza style with dancing right on the beach. Lax or Bambu Bar for late drinks.

Other facilities: Yoga, spinning classes, kite surf classes, horsebackriding, motorcycles rentals, shopping in beautiful sotres, merchandise from Europe, very near from Puerto Plata, also there is a place for spinning cars nearby.

Situated right on the beach, in the center of the famous Cabarete Bay, Ocean Dream is vacation paradise. Our unit is surrounded by gorgeous tropical gardens, swimming pool, a plaza with a variety of boutiques, and all within the comfort of a very secure gated resort and only a 2 minute walk to the Beach! Kitesurfing and windsurfing enthusiasts from around the world come here. There are surfing schools for those who are beginners in all ocean wind sports. The condo comes with WIFI, cable, and a LCD tv with DVD player. Cars are unnecessary as almost everything is within walking distance. It is also fully stocked with kitchen utensils, linens, and washer and dryer all within the unit.

Charter activities available: river rafting, jeep safari, catamaran sailing, deep sea fishing as well as tours to Santo Domingo, Samana and Haiti, among others. For hire are are cleaning, a cook, baby sitter etc. Playa Dorada Golf Course is a 20 minute drive from the condo.

Great Location and Wonderful Apartment

Our biggest concern was whether or not to rent a car. It is an additional expense and we didn't want to spend our vacation driving around. It turns out that we could walk every night along the beach to all the restaurants and bars at the town center. Our son signed up for surfing classes and they would pick him in the mornings at the entrance of the neighborhood. The market was a block away to buy food and little things we needed. Whenever we needed to go to another beach or the casino we could call a taxi and it was like having a tour guide. The locals are friendly and informative.

The apt. was very cute, clean, and spacious. The pool is right outside the terrace. It was an easy vacation to relax for us. Thank you to the owner. We hope to come back again soon!!
