The Red Viking Cottage is nestled in a private setting on the east side of Sonoma just minutes from the historic Sonoma Plaza, world-class wineries, shops, and restaurants.

This charming cottage is ideally located for all your explorations in the wine country. Built a few years ago, this cozy, little house has all the modern conveniences to make your stay perfect for a couple nights or for a couple months.

The cottage has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people. It has a fully-equipped kitchen and several amenities to make your stay a memorable one.

A complimentary bottle of wine will be waiting for you upon your arrival. Relax and sip a glass of wine on your private covered porch and enjoy the lush outdoor grounds in the beautiful wine country.

The photos of the Red Viking Cottage that I saw online don’t do it justice. We are absolutely in love with your cottage and with the town of Sonoma and are even considering looking for our own charming cottage. Thank you for all your wonderful recommendations. The children loved the park at the plaza but I think their favorite part of the trip was picking tomatoes from your garden and eating them like apples! Our only regret is that we weren’t able to spend more time at your beautiful cottage.

Wonderful Sonoma Retreat

I rented the Red Viking Cottage for 3 nights and it was superb. Mia has excellent taste and pays attention to details that matter to people who want to stay in a clean, light-filled, beautifully appointed place. From the light-filled vaulted kitchen/dining area, to her choice of wall paint, to an abundance of white bathroom towels (with a shower that works great), this house was an excellent choice. Everything worked well. We grilled outdoors every night and dined outside as well. The grounds were impeccable and well landscaped. We will return again. An excellent choice for 2 couples, a family of 4, or just two people looking for a great Sonoma experience.

An excellent choice for a wine country trip - or even just a private getaway. The gardens are wonderful, the location is very private, the house is cute and very workable for meals, BBQs on the grill, or a stay-at-home day.

Perfect cottage for family with young children

We stayed two nights with two young kids. The cottage is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and both of my kids loved playing in the garden. We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Cottage in a Beautiful Setting

Our party included myself, my brother and a good friend, so we all needed separate sleeping accomodations. We could not have picked a more perfect location - from the landscaping to the interior - this cottage is exactly what we were looking for! We were all three completely comfortable and had plenty of room. We spent most of our time in the Napa Valley, but with the location and the easy access, it was a short ride back to the cottage each night and easy to get to anywhere within Wine Country from here. You feel completely isolated, but the wonderful Sonoma Square is less than 2 miles away making it very easy to get a great breakfast and dinner without having to drive far. The care and time that has been put into the landscaping make sitting outside such a treat, that even these die hard college football fans couldn't bring ourselves to watch tv on Saturday night. Our only complaint is that we had to leave after only 2 nights as the cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a much longer stay. I would definitely recommend the Red Viking Cottage to anyone visiting the area.
