Great Pagosa Home

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 stayed in this home for Spring Break while we skied Wolf Creek. This was our third trip to Pagosa Springs and we really loved the location of this home. Close enough to town, grocery store, restaurants, but far enough out to feel away from it all. About 30 minutes to the base of Wolf Creek. This home has a great view of the lake and mountains. The home is cozy, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and the garage was great too. The driveway is steep and with some snow/ice could require a 4x4 to make it up. However, we had no problems. The owner was great to work with and very responsive! Hope to be back next Spring Break!

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

This house is so comfortable and was perfect for us. Our family of 4 enjoyed the first night and we had our Grandparents join us for the last 2 nights. Dish for TV, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and the most breath taking view of Lake Pagosa and the mountains! Went to Boss Hogg's one night, would skip that next time. Had pizza at Pagosa Peaks Pizza the next and it was alright, awesome $2.50 margaritas! Can't wait for our next trip to Wolf Creek! Thanks Kathy and Lynda, see you again soon!

Not a bad place

  • 4 of 5

The home suited our needs well with the exception of the driveway. Even in a 4 wheel drive it was difficult to navigate the steep incline. Lots of things to like about the house, including feels bigger than the pictures would lead you to believe. Needs a little better attention between guests to ensure a smooth experience. The beds were comfortable although the linens were ill fitting. Close enough to both town and the shopping center but, far enough out to feel like you're in the woods (because you are). Overall we enjoyed our stay despite a few negatives and the price was very fair.

The couple who drove the rental van to help us relocate to Pagosa were very satisfied with their stay. Beautiful views from the deck and deer grazing in the yard. Very nice stay and well maintained home.

We arrived to fine the property just as it had been described. The property was easily accessible. It was found neat, clean and orderly. The photos of the property were right on. The property manager was extremely helpful concerning any of our questions. It was a relaxing setting overlooking the lake from the living room balcony anytime of the day. Early every morning we were able to see deer either on the property or next to the home or in the area. We enjoyed soaking in the spring water baths, visiting the wildlife zoo, river rafting, horse back riding; stables located within two miles of the property. We traveled to the town of Silverton and took a mountain road tour as well as took the underground mine tour...We also visited the town of Creede where the new Lone Ranger movie was filmed. The adults enjoyed the new Italian restaurant that had just opened next to the Boss Hogg restaurant which was also enjoyed by all. The bakery located by these restaurants was a frequent visit, too. Yes, we would recommend this property. What an enjoyable stay...

Exactly what we were looking for!

  • 5 of 5

We didn't know what to expect from this site, being first time users, and everything. We actually even brought a tent in case we ended up the victims of some crazy internet scam..because this place just seemed too good to be true. Boy was it! We found ourselves rushing to get back to the relaxing views on the patio, sipping wine and watching the moon come up over the lake. On the back patio we were visited by all walks of wildlife...from deer, to birds, porcupines, to even a bear! The area was perfect for our dogs. We quickly fell into a routine of walking them around the lake. The cabin didn't have a hot tub...but it did have a fantastic oversized tub in the master -my husband doesn't do hot water, but it definately delighted me! The cabin was not only in a beautiful spot...but also a convenient one...a 2 mile trek to the grocery store was in well in reach. We had originally planned for a cabin in Durango...and due to my mis-planning ended up here in Pagosa...was that ever a well wonderful accident...because Pagosa and this cabin, definitely hit the spot!
