Home was built in 2004 and is situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains just a mile and a half from the Appalachian Trial and under two miles from Minsi Lake. It is nestled among the trees on a full acre of private wooded land. The first floor has an open plan living area. Features a handcrafted, stone, open fire place, surrounded by 3 French doors. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities needed to prepare your meals during your stay. It features all stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher for your convenience. The dining area comfortably seats 8. On the second floor is the main bathroom and all three bedrooms. The Master bedroom has its own brick fireplace, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and private deck overlooking the back.

There are endless activities in the area. Ski or snowboard at any one of five plus mountains in the winter, or check out the local water parks in the summer. We are less than 30 minutes from The Crossings, an outlet mall with over 100 stores. Area restaurants and shops are minutes away in Stroudsburg. Check out the new Mount Airy Casino, only 35 minutes away or the just opened Sands Casino which is just over 30 miles away. For the outdoorsmen (and -women) there's a shooting range 5 minutes away, Minsi Lake and the Appalachian Trail are both under 5 minutes away. For lovers of racing & fast cars, visit Pocono Raceway, less than one hour away. Drive less than 30 minutes to visit multiple vineyards and wineries. However, for those of you looking for a more spiritual vacation, Columcille Megalith Park is right down the street, less than half a mile. We didn’t forget the kids either, The Land of Make Believe is only 30 minutes from our home and the Crayola Factory is only 40 minutes away.

Wonderful is an understatement

This was my first time renting a house for a getaway and as the tittle says...wonderful is an understatement. The house is and the surrounding areas are as beautiful as the pictures themselves.

When we arrived we were greeted with lots of information about the surrounding area, food for breakfast, and lots of small things that one might overlook when vacationing somewhere you've not been before. The finishing touch was the birthday balloon left for me. It was the perfect personal touch.

I would, will, and have reccomended this home to all of my friends, family, & loved ones. It is definately worth the drive out.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Stayed at this charming house for 2 weeks with my family of 4.
What to say?....Just a wonderful house in a superb area and a fabulous setting. The house is beautifully decorated and has more amenities than any family would need to make a stay as restful and as relaxing as possible.
Even though the house is appropriately described in the website, we felt that it actually offered even more amenities and facilities than the description, especially for family with kids (plenty of games, puzzles, books, CDs etc).
It is a very clean and well-maintained house; and the surrounding woods, pond and playing ground are very private and offer a huge "extras" that are wonderful conveniences to use to relax and wind down. Even though the location is remote, there are plenty of shopping/groceries within few minutes drive if need be.
We were especially delighted that the owner provided plentiful printed information, directions, maps, booklets etc on local activities and facilities. And the owner was always very prompt to answer any question and query immediately and effectively.
In sum, one of the best houses we used while vacationing in the US and we would immensely recommend this house to anyone wishing to spent some quiet and restful family quality-time in the Poconos.

Girls getaway

Me and 6 other girls needed a mini vacation just to hang out and relax. We found this beautiful house and fell in love with it as soon as we saw the pictures, but when we got there it was so much more! It was a home where we all wanted to stay and never leave. It fit all of us comfortably with much room to spare. It is in an isolated area, but there are markets and other things about 15 minutes away. I absolutely adored this house and I am really looking forward to staying there again.

Lovely Weekend - Wonderful Accommodations

My party and I were so pleased to rent this property. The photos accurately depict the home's presentation. The home is perfectly clean, warm, inviting and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked. The radiant floor heating is fabulous. And we really enjoyed using the fireplace each evening.

Interactions with the owner were fast and informative.

Beautiful Home!

Just a perfect weekend get-away for my family. Very kid friendly....swing set in the back yard, toys, booster seat for table, crib and even a potty seat! Nice open floor plan...very comfortable and clean. Great communication! Will definitely love to come stay again. Thank you!
