Red Bear Lodge is a custom built log home overlooking the fourth hole of the Tahoe Donner Championship Golf Course in Truckee/Tahoe, CA. This romantic lodge has been beautifully decorated and has three bedrooms, an over-sized loft and can comfortably sleep up to ten. Perfect for two families! The lodge also has two completely redesigned bathrooms, a spectacular new kitchen, three fireplaces on one of the most private settings in all of Tahoe Donner.

Other Info:

- Rustic log beds made of 100 yr old reclaimed barn wood; three queen beds, one set of twin bunks and one pullout sofa bed (we also have aero beds for large groups)

- Striking new gourmet kitchen with copper farm sinks, red granite, knotty alder cabinets, Viking range/micro, Miele dishwasher and paneled fridge

- New bathrooms with rough edge granite counters, tumbled tile and custom copper sinks

- Luxurious leather lodge sofa w/captain chairs

Great Family Home!

I stayed at Red Bear Lodge with my wife, 7 month old daughter and our Golden Retriever along with our friends who have 2 young kids for a nice ski weekend. The home is plenty big for 2 families and a very cozy setting to come back to after a long day of skiing. It has everything you would have in your own home including Apple TV and internet down to everything you need in the kitchen to be at home. We would highly recommend staying at this cabin and look forward to staying here again!

Peace and Quiet

This place is located on a private street on a golf course - very quiet and safe for our kids to roam around. Love the logs, kitchen and new baths - nicer than we have at our home! Overall a great experience and I'll be back!

Awesome Log Home on Golf Course

What a great time we had at the Read Bear Lodge! It is even better than the wonderful photos show. The kids loved the loft and playing outside and taking hikes around the area. What a relaxing cabin. Looking forward to coming back next year.

We're just back from a week of skiing and stayed at Red Bear. What a great experience - it felt like we were staying at a high end B&B. The owners left a quality bottle of wine for us and the beds/bedding were absolutely amazing! The setting is very quiet - lots of room to roam out back on the golf course - Thanks Red Bear we'll be back!!

We love Read Bear Lodge! We stayed the whole week and had the best time
ever. The weather was perfect, so we spent the entire morning skiing and
having fun it the snow. It was great to come back to our cozy cabin and
enjoy some comfort food and warm up next to the wood stove. The cabin had
everything that we were looking for: comfy beds, a cozy atmosphere, fire
place, great view. We would highly recommend a pleasant stay here.
