(the Comal and the Guadalupe) which offer endless water fun and relaxation; Schlitterbahn Water Park (voted #1 in the world); our quaint downtown district with restaurants, shops and bars; and just on the outskirts of New Braunfels is the town of Gruene with its restaurants, shopping and the infamous Gruene Hall (oldest dance hall in Texas). Another attraction for visitors is the outlet mall in San Marcos, one of the best in the country. We also have the Dry Comal Creek Winery, Natural Bridge Caverns & Wildlife Park and Canyon Lake nearby. New Braunfels is a relaxing tourist destination for all ages and lifestyles!!

  • Please note that it does take us time to get our rental ready for our next guests. Checking out on time is important to us. If you need more time, please ask us and when we can we will accommodate you. If we do have guests arriving the same day you are checking out, we will charge you $25 per 15 minutes you are late checking out.

  • By booking at 'Life is Gruene' you acknowledge the following policies:
    A deposit of $500 is due at booking plus a signed Rental Agreement.
    All cancellations must be made 30 days prior to rental date and require a $50.00 handling fee
    Rental Rates must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to rental date - No Refunds!
    All rooms are non smoking (Patio Only)
    All reservations must be made by a responsible party, 21 years of age or older, who must occupy the property during the reservation time. This party will be responsible for all charges, including damages caused to the property, etc.
    A full inventory has been made of our property’s contents, and an inspection will be made after your check out. Any damage or missing items will be charged to your credit card.
    Safety and security are the sole responsibility of the guests. Owners assume no responsibility or liability for the safety or security of the guests, or for the injury caused by the criminal acts of others.
