Enjoyed the cool weather and the convenience to the park.' Guests from Mandeville, LA and Colorado Springs, CO 'This place was perfect. Our stay in Estes Park was a lot of fun. Close to downtown and R.M.N.P. made out travels very easy. The recommendation of Dunraven was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. The kids really enjoyed the Big Thompson being so close. Thanks for sharing your home with us.' Guests from Lee's Summit, MO
Being originally from Nebraska, Lois and I always loved vacationing in Colorado. I worked in Estes Park one summer in high school and two in college. When we were looking for a place to get away from the hot, humid summers in Virginia, we naturally decided on Estes Park. The condo is a perfect way to have a worry free second home. Being close to everything: hiking, fishing, eating out, river walking. There is nothing like sitting on the deck gazing at the mountains or by the river to let the cares of the world wash away.
Jim or Lois Gunlicks purchased this condo in 2007
Proximity to Denver Airport, Rocky Mountain National Park, the cool dryness of Estes Park and all of the wild animals and breathtaking views.
The Big Thompson River runs next to the property and it is less than a mile to the center of downtown Estes Park.
This place was great. You have a beautiful place and so close to everything. Thanks for letting us stay. It was a wonderful week!
My husband and I have stayed at many VRBO rentals from NY to CA and this beautiful condo is by far our favorite. It is centrally located, well maintained and very well stocked. The owners are nice and extremely accomadating. Beds are comfortable, nice linens and kitchen is perfect for any size group. We have stayed here twice and plan to return this fall. I highly recommend this rental-you will not be disappointed.
We spent two weeks in this condo in July/August 2013 and were happy from the moment we arrived. The house was clean, everything we needed was furnished and it is extremely well designed.
In our instance it was primarily my wife and I and over the course of two weeks we entertained a number of others with two and three night stays. We believed that everyone had sufficient privacy and there was never a sense that we felt crowded or cluttered.
Of course there is no place we'd rather be than Estes Park as we enjoy the community, the park and the fresh air and sunshine. In short, we will be back and fully expect to utilize this home many times in the future.
We met two other couples at the condo in July. After seeing the sights in and around Estes Park each day, it was great to come back to the condo and kick off our shoes and relax. We especially enjoyed meeting the neighbors - the elk that came to nibble on the aspen right below the deck. The table was a great place for several card games. It's a great way to enjoy a vacation with all the comforts of home.
We had the opportunity to stay here for the month of October as our daughter was getting married at The Crags Lodge. It was perfect for our family and friends to gather both before and after the big event. Very spacious, modern, clean and with beautiful views off of the deck. We were able to walk into town every day and enjoy so many of the local restaurants, especially Dave's BBQ, an easy walk from the property. There was plenty of room for all of our clothes, and things we had brought for the wedding. We loved our time at the condo, and would highly recommend it for a terrific Estes Park visit.
We stayed here with our 2 young children and parents over 4th of July week. It was the perfect set-up for our family, with 2 bedrooms and a bath on the lowest level and a loft bedroom for our parents on the upper level. The location is excellent! We rode our bikes each morning to either the Donut Haus or Coffee on the Rocks. We hope to stay again!
We enjoyed lodging at this condo. We have been to other locations in Estes but this was very nice. It was close to all activities, grocery store and restaurants. We had grandchildren with us and we all fit comfortably in this house. We also enjoyed the short walk to the Big Thompson River. We would recommend this house to anyone visiting Estes.
Be near everything in this beautiful condo with fabulous mountain views in Park River Place. Enjoy private river access for condo guests only a couple hundred yards away. Fishermen in your party will love fishing in the Big Thompson river away from the crowds of the public fishing areas. The wonderful shops and restaurants of downtown Estes are less than a mile away making a great walk. When you are ready to explore the Rocky Mtn National Park just continue on down Hwy 36 for a couple miles and you will reach the Beaver Meadows (South) entrance and visitors center. After your long day out exploring all this wonderful area has to offer come back to the luxury and comfort of Park River Place.
