Bearidise Ridge has a king size bed (with no foot board for the tall people). This bedroom also has a TV with all the movie channels and its own bathroom with a shower. In each of the other bedrooms you will find an 100 yr old antique wrought iron full bed with egyptian cotton sheets and 100% cotton quilts. They also has a nice 32' flat screen tv with all of the movie channels(HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, The Movie Channel, and Starz) It has Wi-Fi and Direct TV with all of the movie channels included. The full kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, plates, glasses, coffee cups, and silverware. The kitchen has a range, fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, sink, microwave, toaster, and of course a coffee maker. The Cottage has a washer and dryer so you can pack light or dry your clothes if you get caught out in the rain on a hike. We provide bath towels, wash clothes, hand towels, dish rags, and dish towels. We also provide dish washing liquid, dish soap, hand soap, and washing powders. We do not provide personal bath soap or shampoo. The cabin property touches the Pisgah National Forest so you can hike right from the cabin. This Cottage is a great place to stay.
We enjoyed the mountainous location as well as the clean, well cared for home. It may sound strange, but I often judge a rental by it's linens and this rated an A+. Many towels and good quality!
My husband and I wanted to spend Christmas with our two daughters and their spouses. We cooked every meal and enjoyed visiting Asheville and Hendersonville. Everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We brought a lot of our kitchen stuff but basics were there.
My wife and I enjoyed a short two night stay here. Although it was mid November temperatures had remained fairly warm until the day we arrived. We got to see rime ice on the mountaintops nearby and enjoyed the gas stove and its warmth. And the hot tub was a big plus. What a good setting to end our two week 'Road Trip'.
My friends and I stayed at this cabin, as we were in town for a wedding. The cabin was very clean and just gave off a perfect atmosphere buried 15 minutes away from much of anything.
The hot tub was great and we basically lived outdoors the entire time. Just a great relaxing time.
This three-bedroom cabin was a STEAL! Great price for a HUGE cabin. We had previously stayed at a one-bedroom cabin, but were looking to take a trip with another couple. We loved that we were able to bring our dog for a very small fee, but the best feature of this cabin was the deck. The back deck stretches the entire length of the house with a great side area (what looked like it used to be a carport). Watching the sunset over the mountains and through the woods was great. The hot tub was a nice bonus especially after we hiked to the top of Looking Glass. Eric and Joey are fantastic about keeping the cabins neat and clean. Huge kitchen in this cabin and we can't wait to go back. This cabin was not as updated as some of their one-bedroom cabins but it was a great space to spend a long weekend!
Bearidise is a great mix of "rustic" (cottagey, backwoods feel and decor) with modern ammenities (leather coaches, flat screen tv, Wifi, hot tub). Owners were hospitable, nice and responsive. Any questions I had were answers within a few hours. Strongly recommend!
