Silver Lake is a village located at the shore of Silver Lake in the town of Madison, New Hampshire. There are more than 10 local Madison trails to hike and canoe. For the more adventurous; Glen Ellis Falls, Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway and a ride on the Cog Railway to the top of Mount Washington are great fun. Visit the oldest general store in our nation called, 'The Brick Store' and Bath-Haverhill Covered Bridge on Route 135 in Woodsville Village. This 256-foot long bridge is the oldest covered bridge in the nation. If it 's entertainment you seek, visit Clarks Trading Post for a trained black bear performance. There is plenty for the kids, outdoors seekers, antique shopper's, the book reader, relaxer and golfer's alike.

Peaceful and Relaxing: The LakeView Cottage is available for you to relax from the daily grind. Upon arrival you will immediately feel tensions release as a gentle breeze sweeps away your worry. Silver Lake is 2 by 3 miles and noted as one of the cleanest lakes in the area.There's a boat landing a quarter mile from the house on our street. The lake is stocked with trout, small and large mouth bass, land locked salmon and more. The kids can fish from the pier at the beach. The view of Mount Chocurua and the Sandwich Mountain range is breathtaking and sunset is spectacular. If you are looking for day trips, there is Lost River, The Flume, hikes along the Kancamangus Highway, the alpine and waterslides at Attitash, StoryLand, Santa's Village or a trip to the elegant Mount Washington Hotel. There is shopping for everyone and restaurants for all tastes. It is all here for you to enjoy or sit by and just relax
