About Emarald Island Resorts: Emerald Island is one of the newest resorts in Kissimmee and, one of the most sought after resorts in the Disney Area. It is located on Funnie Stead Road, West Highway 192. At Emerald Island Resort there are many amenities waiting for you . The 4,000 square foot club house features a fitness center, sauna, Cyber Café with internet access (free), heated community pool and spa, game room for the kids, tennis and volleyball courts, and kid's playground. The Clubhouse is near a trail for walking, jogging or biking through. Within 10 minuets drive of restaurants, shops and family bars, everything you need from fast food to gourmet cuisine.

Our home is a first-class three bedroom 2 and a half bath townhouse at the exclusive Emerald Island Resort. Our Villa is fully furnished and just a few short steps to a heated pool and hot tub. The sitting room is very comfortable and sits around the main TV and the kitchen/breakfast room has been designed as open plan offering more space.The kitchen is fully equipped with all of today's needs, and the home also has a separate laundry room.So if you're looking for a smaller base with resort facilities then you may find that this is the place for you. Turnday: Any. Amenities: Townhome, TV (2+), Tennis Court, Golf Nearby, Community Pool, DVD/VCR, Gated Community. What more can we say except come to visit our villa to get away from it all and relax, enjoy the sun.

Nearest Theme park: Driving time to local Theme Parks: 10 minutes to Walt Disney World / 15 minutes to Sea World / 20 minutes to Universal Studios and Island of Adventure.

Excellent Value and the Best Location

My wife and I rented this property at the very last minute, so we needed and received good communications regarding availability and payments with Raj, the owner, especially as we were calling from the other side of the Atlantic. He was always available to respond via e-mail and phone which made the booking process smooth.

The property is on a very quiet community (sometimes I thought we were the only people staying there at all), which is gated for security.

The property was clean and fully functional (even down to a bedside alarm clock). We almost felt guilty for renting the 3 bedroom property for just the two of us, as we had far more space than we ever needed, but the weekly rates beat the other hotels and motels that we were considering hands down - And we could park right ouside our front door, a bonus with all the cases and shopping we were carrying.

This rental gave us so much more flexibility. We could decide to eat out and make an evening of it, or have a quiet night in and prepare our own meal in the fully functional kitchen after running round the parks all day. Breakfast could also be a leisurely affair, as we did not need to rush out to one of the restauraunts with the rest of the masses before we started our itinerery for the day - we could just get some fruit and juice from the fridge, make coffee and relax.

Location of the property is on the best side for access to the I4 and world drive (the main route into disney) and has good restaurants and shopping facilities nearby. On our return from our day touring, we usually stopped off at the supermarket in the adjacent complex to stock up on supplies.

It gave us peace of mind to know that there was a management company available on call 24/7 should anything go wrong - not that anything required us to make that call.

Having previously rented large multi-room villas when vacationing with family and friends, I did not think that renting a townhouse would be affordable for just the two of us - how wrong I was. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Very thoughtfully furnished. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Thank you for the play-pen and the stroller. We frequent Orlando and had not seen this in any other villa. The community pool and the amenities were just as you mentioned and the kids had a good time. BTW - your listing does not mention the jacuzzi at the clubhouse, which we enjoyed as well. That was a pleasant surprise

Only just got back from Florida, .
Your town home was wonderful - perfect size, perfect location. We found it no problem at all and we've never been so close to Disney . We will definitely recommend it to our friends.
I have to say you've got yourself a great management company, the house was spotless.....a bit of a rarity.... Be glad your company is working well for you. We couldn't fault your house at all.

Everything as advertised, clean and spacious, plenty of room for 8 people. Kitchen has everything you need. Community staff there was pleasant and professional. Pool and clubhouse were wonderful.
Close to everything and a Market place (for daily needs) and many good restaurants may be around 2 mi. Quiet location, Just 10 min drive to Disney parks. We would definitely be back next year to spend more time than we did this time.
