This detached , single story residence has a two-car garage with golf cart parking space. Newly remodeled house has many upgrades, including a completely stocked granite/stainless steel kitchen with a wine refrigerator, master bedroom has patio access seating and en suite bath, spa-like bathrooms, indoor laundry room, and a den with internet access and printer ready for use. Updated flooring is cherry wood, travertine stone and new carpet throughout. Other amenities include flat screen television with cable,wireless internet access, unlimited long distance telephone service, a gardener, and soft water conditioning.

The backyard patio offers a shaded view of the 8th tee on the Lakes course of Black Lake Golf Course. Barbecue is ready for outdoor dining under two pergola-covered patios. Fruit trees for your enjoyment border this private, quiet location.Guests have access to the tennis courts, pool and spa. All this from a home nestled within a quiet neighborhood, where the average summer temperature is in the mid 70's.

As noted, the residence is located on Black Lake Golf Course, and is just minutes from Avila, Rancho Santa Maria, and La Purisma golf courses. Local beaches, fine restaurants and wineries are all nearby as well. And it is just a short drive to nearby Santa Barbara, Solvang and San Luis Obispo. Come enjoy!

About The Owner

Hello and welcome!

We are Paul and Terri and are native Californians who reside in sunny Southern California. This home was once our primary residence, but work circumstances took us back to nearby Ventura County. Our home has been professionally upgraded from ceilngs to floors.

The Owner purchased this house in 2004
Why The Owner chose Nipomo

The choice to make this a vacation rental when we moved was so we could come back and enjoy the home ourselves during the year.

What makes this house unique

Everyone who comes here loves the privacy, peace and quiet! Quails march through the backyard. There is pleasant walking through the neighboring streets. Local shopping and restaurants, including Avila pier and nearby San Luis Obispo are a must! And a Trader Joe's nearby!

A Wonderful Home

This has been our home for the past month and we have enjoyed it thoroughly. It is updated, nicely furnished and has every amenity you could think of and a very well stocked kitchen. Terri and Paul are wonderful to work with and we would certainly rent from them again. The area is beautiful, surrounded by golf courses and wineries. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful with beautifully maintained grounds.

My family stayed here in July and we were very impressed with the quality of the home and the location. Terri and Paul, the owners, were attentive to all of our needs. The climate is ideal, always around 70 degrees.

If you are a golfer, the value is the best on the Central Coast. The Blacklake Golf Course and Avila Beach Golf Course are sister courses and offer fantastic deals. While Avila was in much better shape during our stay, Blacklake was still good and I was able to play at discounted rates at both courses after buying the Infinite Card which gives great deals and free rounds at both courses.

A little piece of Heaven

This is a truly beautifully appointed home inside and out. Every detail has been addressed to make your stay easy, comfortable and enjoyalbe. Everything you would need in your kitchen to cook any menu has been thought of and provided. Sitting outside in the mornings with a cup of coffee or evenings with a glass of wine and enjoying the quiet and beautiful view is so very relaxing. The owners provided lots of great information about the surrounding area, including things to do, restaurants and attractions. If you are a golfer you are going to enjoy Black Lake's 27 holes of golf. There are many, many other courses near by to enjoy also. The home is perfectly located to explore the Central Coast, it is easy to get up to San Simeon or go to Santa Barbara for the day. We would recommend this home to our friends and family. Most important we cannot wait to return. We had a wonderful vacation, in a truly beautiful home. How lucky we are that the owners have made their home available.

Black Lake Golf Resort Getaway

We stayed at Terri & Paul’s lovely vacation home for 5 months this past winter (2009/2010) and really enjoyed it. This is the third year we have stayed at the Black Lake Resort and we changed rental locations this past winter in order to better enjoy the outdoors with the nice patio deck and abundant sunshine that the southern exposure this rental location provides. As a bonus we were able to enjoy the fresh apples, lemons and tomatoes that were growing right on this property. We found the owner’s to be very accommodating and pleasant to deal with and we plan to return for another 5 months next winter. We have found the local area to be a very friendly and enjoyable with lots of things to do beyond golfing. For golfers the Black Lake golf resort is staffed by some of the nicest folks and it is truly to most affordable golf course we have played at during our many years of travelling south for the winter. We would not hesitate to recommend this house and the Black Lake resort to anyone.
